Two of my favorites. Roy was a freak of nature and his accomplishments get tarnished by what he's doing today. 154 to HW champ is an insane! Pac's close but lately he's been taking it easy (probably to avoid ending up like Roy). I give the edge to Roy.

Ok, if that is so, you must be latin/asian or anti-American to have your opinion. Now you can go back into your hole.

Just because you were not a boxing fan or are just too young to understand Roy's prime greatness doesn't diminish his accomplishments.

You just keep thinking Roy has only been this 40+ y/o that get's badly ko'd every other fight, ok.

Oh, and btw, I don't think there's enough anti-pac members on here to be able to allow Roy the edge on this poll. By the latest tally, Roy's winning. So, there must be more members who agree with me than you.

heres the thing when manny started at 1o6 he was a malnourished boy who still had a lot of growing to do roy jones was a grown man already and the diference in power you face from jmw to heavyweight is greater that of being in th 106 division to the welterweight division imo both are grade acomplishmentns though i rank roys higher

Another good thing to mention is that Roy has span the weight classes from 155-205. That's 50 lbs.

Pac has went from 106 to 154. Thats 48 lbs and there many more weight classes between that climb at the lower weights.

I think beating the best @ 160 and 168 and then moving up and dominating the LHW division and then eventually winning a HW title against a man who naturally outweighs you by 40 lbs legitimately is a better accomplishment.

                    But that's just me.
When did Roy beat the best at 160?

I won't disagree that Ruiz was a better opponent than that version of Margarito. But, I really don't count Pac as a JMW, I count him as a WW, Pac never fought at the full JMW limit. So I think Ruiz win and the Cotto win is a better comparison. And, is Ruiz a better fighter than what that Cotto was?
