    Pac by a mile.
Lol, Pac only fought Margarito @ JMW catchweight, try again. Antonio had lost anything he had when Shane took his soul. He never deserved a shot at Pacquiao in the first place.

On the other hand, Ruiz had beat Holfield, undefeated Kirk Johnson, Rahman and Golota when a win over them actually mattered.

Far better win for Jones. If Pac could beat Martinez, we can talk.

THIS BEING SAID. WITH THE RECENT RUN OF PACQUIAO AND THE NUMBER OF HUGGERS ON THIS SITE FOR MANNY, THE RESULTS OF THIS POLL CLEARLY REPRESENT A WIN FOR RJ.

Factually, neither have been proven to be cheats.

although RJJ beat James Toney, Toney was NOT the lineal champ at SMW. neither was Bhop at MW, neither were Griffin, johnson or del valle at LHW and not Ruiz at HW

How many LINEAL Champ did Pacquiao beat?
          4
Losses to journeymen while in prime:

          Pacquiao-2
          Jones-0

          OWNED.

How many "lineal champs" were the best at the weight in their divisions???? Not too many.

For instance I recall that Shannon Briggs , the worst of the "champions, was the "lineal" champ at the time.
            Very, very good point.

Another good thing to mention is that Roy has span the weight classes from 155-205. That's 50 lbs.

Pac has went from 106 to 154. Thats 48 lbs and there many more weight classes between that climb at the lower weights.

I think beating the best @ 160 and 168 and then moving up and dominating the LHW division and then eventually winning a HW title against a man who naturally outweighs you by 40 lbs legitimately is a better accomplishment.

            But that's just me.

I agree. Ruiz was a better opponent that Margarito, for instance. And even after Jones had moved up, he was still outweighed by Ruiz by over 30lbs at the weigh-in.

I guess I didn't pay enough attention so that is just a clearer win for Roy, thanks.

It's a good thing that there's new boxing fans and all but it's sad how the current version of Rjjr is the only one that most Pacquiao fans are aware of. They don't realize that Roy had Pacquiao's offense and Mayweather's defense in his prime. A p4p freak is what he was. He was the superfight in himself. I'll never forget.

I'm not even much of a Pac fan but this one is clearly in Pac's favor. You either have to be black or pro american to have a different opinion.

Yeah, true. The new boxing fans learn soon enough though, the ones who really care anyway.
