Wasn't the gospel in NSB on September 18th 2009 that Marquez looked terrible physcially at the weigh in? In which he came in at 144?

He will come in at 144 or whatever it was just like he did with Floyd to try and get some advantage for being the smaller man.

And he will look terrible physically.

My post history has always been clear about SSM. He got a moment to shine against Margarito, when he was caught cheating. But SSM has been done since the Mayorga fight.

SSM performed horribly against Mayorga and admirably against Margarito. He then went cold after Berto fell through and came into the fight against FMJ going through two training camps. He had no chance to win

Against Pac...he was still horrible, but at least active. They shouldn't have happened and the credit is void for both of them for beating SSM at this point
Besides Pac, after the Berto fight fell through.. the Mosley fight was the fight that should of happened and DID happen.

Although he had been inactive for a bit, he was coming off one of the best wins of his career.

Everyone clamored for that fight to happen when Berto fell through.

Now after he lost decisively, and then got a draw with Mora... the Pacquiao fight was a disgrace, before, during, and after.

At the very least the Mosley-Mayweather fight was not a disgrace when it was signed.

        False.
Floyd just said he never cheated JMM on the scale.

people must've forgot...floyd-jmm made 1.2 million ppvs. that in itself was giving credit to a fight that was viewed as a mismatch from the get go.

So how could you talk **** about Mayweather fighting Marquez, yet turn around and praise Pac fighting Marquez? It's complete bull****. So if you're hyping this fight up as legit, and good for Pac then you best give Mayweather his props for beating Marquez up in hurrr

Personally, I think Mayweather fighting Marquez was BS.
Marquez is a Light weight, and not a WW. Pac should fight Mayweather and be like bia bia
I hate this fight, its a total waste of time. They should have gone out and gotten ortiz or bradley. **** the top rank gdp fuse arum should have done his job and signed a fresh face. But I agree, if ur gonna **** on one u gotta **** on the other. Same with the shane fight, if u love it one day don't hate on it the very next.

they're just getting clowned on for the usual hypocrisy
nobody thinks this fight is important, Pac's gonna kill him

just like this poser ass bitch right here
            I agree with that

              1) Floyd is bigger than Pacquiao in all dimensions and out muscled Mosley even
              2) Floyd didn't even honour catch weight.

i dont know, i steered away from mayweather/pacquiao threads back then

so no, i dont remember anyone saying he looked terrible physically in the mayweather weigh in

i remember some threads about marquez in training which people said he looked massive, and ofcourse there were the threads after the fight

The reason the fight got no credit is because of the weight. Nothing else.
If you dig up the old threads and posts in this site, that's one of the biggest complaints for the fight before the "weigh in". When Floyd failed to make the contractual weight is when he really got hammered for the weight difference. Even before the fight was made, they were already hating on Floyd.
