read the title. point of the thread is that he gives ortiz a better shot than manny vs floyd, this is not a discussion of just manny vs floyd.

His main point is he doesn't think Manny has much of a shot so he would give an unknown quantity a better shot just because really, he listed some reasons but those were not really what I would call in depth analysis of Ortiz.

Those punches would fall short and get Manny tagged~, Floyd out ranges Manny in a battle of straight punches those with range win. It also allows Floyd to get off first because he can his range allows it, then when Manny tries to get off first he will be out of range and will pay the terrible price something terrible.

It's not flawed cuz manny is a far faster fighter than demarcus corley and he's about a half inch shorter. you act like floyd is impenetrable, HE'S not. he can be hit by lefties and overwhelmed at time by volume. NO WAY ortiz is a better challenge for floyd than manny. floyd may not out range manny because floyd has never fought someone as fast on foot as manny who actually come from different angles.

Ortiz is more dangerous to Mayweather than what Manny is imo. Ortiz is big, strong, powerful, consistent, a lefty, but one who has a good jab, and sound fundamentals.

A worry for Ortiz in a fight with Mayweather, is whether Ortiz is good enough at cutting the ring down when pressing, if Mayweather was able to draw him foward and was trying to use his movement to offset him.

Ortiz is a skilled, consistent, 5ft 9, power punching lefty. That would give Mayweather problems imo.
