My main point is, I think a fight with Ortiz-Mayweather has more intrigue in it stylistically, than what Manny -Floyd does, as I dont think Manny has the physical dimensions to compete with Mayweather.

This thread reminds me of Horus's little gem "Mayweather vs Spadafora or 'Lamount' Peterson would be epic". Anybody who thinks Pacquiao is going to be "easy" for Mayweather, so much so that it will be "a one sided beat down", is either completely biased towards Floyd or so blind they can't see past their own nose and has never really watched Pacquiao fight and just a hater who can't give props. Of course Pacquiao has his flaws, but to give Ortiz a better chance skill wise vs Mayweather then Manny is outright insulting. To actually say that Ortiz would be a more competitive fight against Mayweather then Pacquiao is absolutely absurd.

How you gonna pressure a guy who's output is based on how many opportunities your create for him with your aggression, when you have a poor defense, and he wont stand still for you, can hit you from further away, is more skilled?

Its not about who is a better fighter, Ortiz or Manny, its about who's style cooperates more with Mayweather's. Now straight off the bat you would say, well that's Ortiz, cause he's a punching machine, and Mayweather's biggest flaw, is probably his activity level, but the key to that IMO, is that Mayweather's the most accurate fighter in Boxing, and Manny has a poor defense.
Mayweather has every counter punch in the book, is longer so he can control and dictate distance with that reach.
Said it before, will say it again, no one who applies pressure and neglects their defense is going to beat Mayweather.
Its not so much I give Ortiz is a greater chance, I just find more intrigue in that fight, cause whilst I think Mayweather would probably win, there is still enough of a ? mark to make it interesting. I think Ortiz's physical dimensions might bridge the gap in experience that he lacks, that Manny has over him, simply cause Manny lacks those important intangibles.

I think Floyd beats them both.
But Ortiz is an easier fight. Hes too slow, too flat footed and has absolutely zero defence.
Pacquiao throwing punches with speed and power from crazy angles in the southpaw stance is what gives him a chance against Floyd imo.

Ortiz is more dangerous to Mayweather than what Manny is imo. Ortiz is big, strong, powerful, consistent, a lefty, but one who has a good jab, and sound fundamentals.
A worry for Ortiz in a fight with Mayweather, is whether Ortiz is good enough at cutting the ring down when pressing, if Mayweather was able to draw him foward and was trying to use his movement to offset him.
Ortiz is a skilled, consistent, 5ft 9, power punching lefty. That would give Mayweather problems imo.
I give Manny little chance of beating Mayweather.
Manny's defense isn't good enough when on the the front foot, he doesn't have the ability to create his openings aside from feinting his way in, as he has no jab. Mayweather would paint Manny with lead right hands, counters uppercuts when he was shooting in with the big left, offset him with movement imo. Mayweather just has more ways to win against him, than what he has against Mayweather, not to mention the physical disparity between the two in terms of length.
I'd rather seen Mayweather vs Ortiz, only I think Floyd is smart enough to understand that Ortiz potentially posses a lot more problems stylistically.

To be fair, I said from day one that Mosley-Mayweather would not be a competitive fight.
