No. That goes for all races. Everybody is a over hyped bum that got exposed after their first lost.

What about it? I read nothing in that article that backs up your assertion that Greenburg and HBO are unreasonably favouring African American fighters. In so far as Houser does directly mention race, he talks about how boxing has seen a decline in the amount of viewers, and how the specific demographic that has seen the sharpest decline is the African American community. Therefore, Greenburg proposed additional advertising and promotion be directed towards that community, in response to the decline. OMG, what an out of control ******* extremest he must be!! LOL.

C'mon dude, you're making yourself look silly here.

          Examples of this.

          Danny Jacobs
          James Kirkland
Paul Williams - especially Williams, this guy was barely getting any props when dominant... even tho he fought everyone and made exciting fights

Is this just me, or has anyone noticed this crazy trend of late?
I don't think it's black fighters per se, but all 3 of these guys had media exposure and hype thus their fall from grace was just that much greater.

take ortiz for example... or even khan...

Greenburg's extreme ******* agenda is big part of the reason for the decline in the popularity of boxing in the US and the lower HBO ratings. He bases too many of his his decisions on race rather than what the fans want.

To me, I think both European and black fighters have that pussy streak about them. Look at guys like Dzinziruk, Sturm, and Abraham. All those guys are scared to death it seems like to launch any offense. And Pirog gave people that same impression based on his last fight. And a lot of American fighters are exactly the same way. Dawson, Dirrell, Broner, and now Alexander based on his last couple fights. People want to see exciting fights and knockouts and that's why fighters like Pacquiao and other Latino fighters are so highly regarded. Because they bring excitement. Although it seems like American fans don't pay attention to Latino fighters like they should. Because I'll admit that fighters like Martinez and Gamboa can't identify with fans for some reason or another.

Did you watch Dzinziruk's last fight vs. the best fighter in our sport, Sergio Martinez?
