Your logic is completely flawed...so because a small minority of black fans say that black fighters have superior athleticism, they must be judged according to it....thats like me saying I should judge all white people based on what the KKK says......

Just because an uneducated, ex convict, in BHop says ****** things...doesnt mean that all black people think the same.....

The answer is in plain english in my very first post in this thread you dunce.

I can't believe people are really this ******.

If he promotes himself then he's a clown to be hated. Damned if you do damned if you dont. Is Berto's fame anymore unwarranted than Canelo?or Malignaggi?or Katsidis who has beat nobody relevant in forever? They all stay on TV and 2 of them are just punching bags. If you claim blacks are whining and you want to ridicule then mention all the ones that fall under that category.
I was going to come on here and retract all my racial comments about black fighters being coddled. It's all hot prospects, not race. Happens with hispanic American fighters too. SO I retract saying that black fighters are coddled. There are plenty who aren't (Mike Jones is a good example)

And Dawson did not earn it, just cuz you have a belt doesn't mean you deserve paydays. you have to bring in the DOUGH. Plus Dawson barely ever fights. (the win vs Adamek is his best win IMO by the way cuz I got adamek top 15 pfp).

Know who earns his appearances and dough- DRE WARD. He packs the house. So did Devon Alexander and Cory Spinks. Tim Bradley fights the best he can, so he deserves to be on TV.

Canelo brings mad viewers and packs the house, same as Kats and Malignaggi (to a lesser extent).

And guess what, Malignaggi and Kats have to fight the BEST for the most part to get on TV. Berto gets 900K for fighting Freddie Hernandez and all his fights are on HBO.

Berto and Dawson are poster boys for what's wrong with HBO.

Basically dude who started the thread is what the problem is, crying racial prejiduce when that's not the case.

If they didn't build up these fighters so high,

they wouldn't have so far to fall once they get knocked out.

So, no, they aren't held to any higher standard by boxing fans, only by race fans.
Ok seen as you keep ducking my questions......

How many fans does Dawson, Berto and P WIll have ...how many sigs do you see sporting these fighters...other than Burner..no one really seems to rate these fighters.....As you say...if there were rated so high..black fans would come out to see them fight...seen as they think they have superior athleticism

Its funny you talk about black fans shouting about their supremacy or w/e but I never see you address the Klit fans who, among them, have quite possibly the most racist fans and send racist karma messages.....

When is the last you hear this, "He looks like the next 'fill in the blank.'"

blank = any of the following: SRR, Ali, SRL, Hagler, SweetP, and Hearn

With increase participation of blacks into "white-collar" jobs and improvement in economic opportunities, the "exodus" of black fighters have accelerated. Larger participation in other sports also contribute to this. If you look at the current "big-name" black fighters, a few have essentially been raised from the boxing family. Mayweather and Moseley are two examples of this.

This trend for your so-called higher standard also applies to many Mexican and Mexican-American fighters. Often, I think JMM is not respected as much due to his fighting style. I think this is plain wrong.
I completely agree with that. I will be against any unwarranted hate against good fighters. JMM has done noting but beat guys for double digit years and gets the boxing world's ass to kiss. He's i the same boat as PWill as far as respect goes.

I'll be the first to say a lot of casual black fans are fair weather. But I have also noticed non-black fight fans like seeing that fall from black fighters. I have no problem with any fan calling a hype a hype but even the best black fighters get ****. Floyd is boring but winning. Bhop is boring but winning. Paul Williams is overrated but beat the best. Dawson is overrated but beat the best. Bradley is no good but undefeated and beat top guys. Berto is over paid but is a champion.

Malignaggi is average but he's "all heart". Katsidis is a heavy bag with feet but he's a "warrior". Andy Lee is par at best. Pirog has beaten one prospect but Martinez is ducking him huh? Its all pretty obvious. Dont tell me these black fighters of tis era are so different when fighters have always talked **** and made spectacles in and outside the ring. Boxing fans just need time enough to forget the unimportant and focus on great boxing when it comes to black fighters.

You're right about Ward. He packs the house but is underrated by boxingscene posters and sometimes flat out disrespected.

people just don't like dawson and berto for a myriad of reasons.

you know, if you ain't even popular in your neighborhood or hometown, how you gonna be popular somewhere else??????? your own people don't come out to support you

Another thing I notice is berto and Paul don't talk 1/4 of the **** that floyds talks but they are hated on something serious.

And yeah dudes talk about they feel as black fans are on some black power need to stop it. The pinoys and the white euros on here are the worst. Leaving Red K's with racist comments in them seem to be the norm.

so what? its a message board. ward is getting paid and its what he deserves.

i'm not sold on ward. he's top 3-4 smw, but his best win is over kessler...his style is all wrong for kessler who has no inside game.

if ward was really a pfp talent he's be knocking dudes like allan green and the colombian heavy bag edison miranda's block off.

the good thing about ward is we will know the truth about him cuz he's manly. no one can ever call him a duck, and if he wins the tourney I will consider him a top pfp fighter and obviously the best smw in the world, it'll be bute's responsibility to get in the ring with ward then to prove himself
