Serious Question: Why did Pac ask Floyd to pay a 10 Million per pound weight penalty?

Because Floyd originally asked for the fight to be made at the light middle limit of 154lbs..

Because Floyd at first wanted the fight at 154 and later agreed to 147, leaving Pacquiao's camp to believe that he would weigh over the weight limit.

I forgot about that, if there was ever a clear indication that Floyd wanted or might come in at a higher weight, that was it.

because he wanted floyd to come in not higher than the agreed upon weight, which is what he is supposed to do in the first place.

a couple of million dollar penalty will not stop him to go over the limit if he wanted to considering the fact that they will probably get 40 million each

Right, as if he is going to allow them to test him during the fight. Wake up. We'll see what he says AFTER this fight with Mosley. Manny has a history of "agreeing to all his demands" whenever he is signed to fight another fighter. Floyd was JUST on record saying, "If he takes the tests (WITH NO CUT OFF), we got a fight."

all Manny is asking is that they come in at the weight negotiated...so you're saying...is that Manny is following the same rules as the boxing commission...the difference is that he just puts a stricter punishment ....more money from fighters who have a lot of money and the commission's penalty is probably chump change to them compared to what they would earn if they win with a weight advantage....

He's isn't following their rules. If he was, he would allow THEM to dictate the penalties for fighters being overweight. Its hilarious how you guys support Manny going above and beyond the commission but cry foul when his opponent wants to do the same.

now, does the commission provide their own boxing standards for testing for PED's? yes, they do....but Floyd wants a DIFFERENT test done....Manny has never been suspected of taking PED's, just like your point that Cotto and Morales never missed weight....but Manny is making them take a test or go through a program that the commission hasn't already developed...just a stricter fine.....Manny says he will do whatever the commission has decided is the standard testing... based on your theory, shouldn't Floyd ask for a stricter penalty...not come up with a new test ???

Oh that's right Miguel Melo did start his career at 108 pounds gained almost half of his body weight naturally, spanned 8 different weight classes, and now fights at 147. If you can name one of Floyd's previous opponents that has done that then you have a point..if not then stop making a fool of yourself. When things in sports happen that have never happened before people start to wonder..hmmm Barry Bonds breaks the baseball home run record and looks about double the size that he did 10 years ago..think something weird could be going on?

Get a camera crew, make a documentary, get some candid interviews from people who have witnessed Manny's deception of the sport by cheating his way by using undisclosed drugs.
