The strange thing with BH is that because hes good at 43 or whatever, he must have been phenomenal at 30 years of age, but it dont seem to work like that with BH.
He drew with whatsits name at 29 and then people say BH wasnt in his prime then? When was his prime then? When was the best ever BH cos im confused? Was he prime when he lost to JT?

I'm not sure where you are going with this....his resume of opponents (ok,we can exclude the rematch with Roy...did he look prime in that fight?) are more prime than Manny's opponents have been.That much is clear.As far as Hopkins being in his prime,no,I do not think a guy with 46 year old legs is prime.He has relied on technique and his boxing IQ more than ever and has had to rely on tactics later on in his career,but physically he is 46 no matter what-yet he is still fighting top opposition(Why isn't Manny?).His age is masked with his technique and skill and the fact that he hasn't relied on having speed, athleticism or power over most people.

Are you saying that Manny shouldn't seek out better competition than he has been and that he should continue fighting the Moselys or other damaged/past it fighters? It is well known that he could easily make JWW and he has fought for the JMW belt-why stay in the weaker division out of the others?

You do not need to exclusively jump weight divisions to be on a P4P list (otherwise a HW fighter could never make a P4P list),let alone have a better resume.Bernard has better quality and quantity.Tell me how he doesn't-I am open to hearing about the topic of this thread-don't ramble about FOTY and other meaningless crap when it comes to comparing resumes...

I see a lot of votes for Manny,but not enough reasons from his fans like Pasawayako,etc....I wonder why? Out of 115 votes,they cannot muster up the logic or explaination to give much reason as to why they picked Manny- pathetic.

The last great fighter Manny fought (without the b.s. contract stipulations who was without an asterik) was Marquez....since then,we see a lot of shot names,catchweights,advantages for Manny,severe ko's before Manny got to em,and proven to be "past their best" opponents.That last Marquez fight seems like quite a while ago! I hear they want to fight him...maybe Manny will finally jump back to the 154 pound division when he calls for that trilogy! LMFAO
