While both Bernard and Manny have asteriks around certain opponents, you will find that Manny's biggest wins have been under conditions where he was going to win no matter what...it happens when you face questionable opposition. Are you going to sit here and say Morales,Barrera,Mosely,Oscar, etc were prime fighters???? FFS Manny hasn't taken a risk since fighting Marquez (in a fight where he got a gift). If ignorance is bliss, surely you are in heaven.

While we are talking about smaller fighters coming up to face champions, why don't you tell me which is easier-moving up in weight or moving down????

Well you as a Hopkins fan and me as a Pac fan might have in some degree a bias towards in our favorite fighters but these boxing historians and boxing writers who has Pac a better resume than any fighters in this era, put Pac shoulder to shoulder to the past ATGs what matter most. I don't give you any links, you have to find it for yourself if you want to know who are they.

I have no personal bias...I watch both fighters when they fight.I call it as I see it and don't need biased hype creators like BWAA to tell me who they think is ATG,FOTY/D,etc...that is all irrelevant. What is relevant is what I witness with my own two eyes without being swayed.

Now back to the topic-why do you think Pac has a better resume? As I said, you can break it down any way you like, but Hopkins has consistantly been an underdog facing the top opponents or top legit opponents while overcoming the odds.A lot of fighters have been overlooked many times in history by boxing writers...big deal.Manny simply has been smoke and mirrors for his last several fights....I mention this if you want to debate quality. If you wanna talk who has the best names DESPITE whether they have won or lost,it is even more in favour of Hopkins...You guys prop Manny up way too much.

MAnny hands down. He stills goes up in weight and takes the best of them while B-hop beat WW Tito and Oscar (both looked like fatman vs Hopkins)

I still think winky got the W but it could go any way
$h!t he couldn't even be Jermain Taylor twice for crying out loud.
So we got Tarver and PAvlik. I still think he could beat Tarver any day but coming down after that movie to fight B-Hop damage him a bit.

Would you say the quality of opponents that Manny has recently had better than prime rising fighters, some undefeated???? In fact,I can't think of many undefeated prime fighters worth a **** that Manny has fought-can you?

Manny moving up to WW was a joke. Nobody ever gave him a chance when he was fighting below 135. Pacman eclipses Hopkins as he shocked most people who believed he was getting ktfo!
