Favorite White Fighters.

Here is a list of my favorite white fighters.
1. Joe Calzaghe - fought and beat Jones in the U.S. What more can you say.
2. Carl Froch - didnt like him at first but he earned my respect from not avoiding fighters. He's willing to fight anyone. Including future hall of famers.
3. Kelly Pavlik - Hopkins exposed him as a one dimensional fighter... but I credit him with putting Jermain Taylor on the path to retirement... tough white boy.
4. Gerry Cooney - Bruiser. Willing to fight anyone and would knock a MF senseless.
5. Ricky Hatton - aside from him being decapitated by Pacquaio he fought the best and had career defining fights against future hall of famers. Fought PBF tough... just didnt have enough versatility in his repertoire.

Ali 1/16th... that upsets me about as much as me getting some ass from a chick whose 1/16th white. Makes no difference.

Like I said before... you have Tommy Morrison in your all time favs. I cant argue with that logic.. I mean if you just insist on liking white fighters try Gerry Cooney or Rocky Marciano or even Pavlik but Morrison... I cant even take you seriously when you got Morrison as a favorite. Gotta be hard being a boxing fan when you only like white fighters huh?

He may have had a weak chin but Morrison was a much better fighter then the very protected "Great White Hope" Gerry Cooney. And he did not claim they were great fighters just his favorite so what ever point you are trying to make really makes no sense.

it's boxingscene. haha i used to get upset over racism on boxing scene exhibited towards whites and blacks. blacks say just as much racist ****. even in the sport of boxing we see the double standard. EX: hopkins says "he will never lose to a white boy" (well, in fact he did, but that's aside the point). can you IMAGINE if calzaghe had said "ill never lose to a black boy?" (which he hasn't, but once again, neither here nor there. . . ) and james toney. then hopkins basically says that latino, asian and white fighters can't compete with blacks. . . today in boxing id say latino races DEFINITELY have the widest bullpen of world class boxers.

Very misleading title. I actually had Solis winning the round up until the accident, yes this was an accident. The referee ruled a knockdown for Klitc, which is debatable, could have went either way. I do not think it was a knockdown personally. This fight should be ruled a no contest. I hope Solis' people fight hard for their fighter and at least try to get this overturned.

Sure. Overturned because he was unable to continue due to a leg injury. So in the future every fighter that gets knocked down, grabs his leg and gets a no contest out of it.

What do you think my point is? Solis lost the fight, whether the blow was good or not. I take nothing away from Vitali. My point is that the proceedings of the fight are highly questionable. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but the ending stinks...and I don't mean "unexciting."

YoU'RE welcome. To me.. i'm happy with the result as I didn't think he'd get him out of there that quick esp. the way he was competing. I really thought we were going to have a war once the bell signaling the end of the first rd rang. This is a spectacular result against an elite boxer that will once again be tainted. I think this is Vitali's biggest win considering all the stakes..who he was facing. No one could've predicted a first rd Ko. Where are all the people saying Vitali doesn't have one punch knockout power. In 2 of the last 3 fights he's won the bouts with one punch & put Briggs in the hospital with multiple injuries from head to toe. & for the idiots claiming Haye has the highest Ko ratio in heavyweight history....think again..that **** was on loan.

just like a said Solis is a more skilled version of Samuel Peter, but that ending was bad, I give credit to Vitali it is not his fault that he couldn't get a KO with a CLEAN SHOT but a Win is a Win

Solis look like he twisted his knee or something, not sure what happened, I don't think he took a dive or quit or anything like that, with the Glancing Shot to the head and a bad knee, not sure what he could have done even if he would have been able to get back up

Maybe Solis hurt his leg, maybe he didn't, but no one can tell me that punch to the top of his head did damage. I wouldn't doubt if Solis threw that fight. No matter what really happened, it's an embarrassment.

At least Rigondeaux won his fight today with an impressive first round TKO of his own against Casey....
