  • You would like to call it an extreme hatred but that wouldnt be correct. Everyone knows that the media loves to give white boxers more credit than they deserve. Some white boxers deserve credit for being true warriors and many don't. Take Kelly Pavlik for example.... he was the best thing since sliced bread until he got exposed by a true legend. Calazaghe I will give credit because although he waited until later in his career he did fight Jones which he beat decisively and Hopkins which he beat after getting up from a KO but up until that point he was unproven. After he beat 2 Hall of Famers I gave him the credit because he earned it. Take Floyd Mayweather for example... I didnt give him credit either until he beat Mosley a hall of famer. So it has nothing to do with being white it has to do with not calling someone great until they beat someone great. So far neither of the Klitschkos have beat anyone great. The fact is there are not many modern day white champions who have beaten hall of famers. Show me some white fighters on the current pound for pound list who have beaten future hall of famers? What's Vitali's record against hall of famers? 0-1 maybe 1-1 if Solis goes on to become a Hall of Famer. So your theory is not correct.

For once, be a man and give Vitali credit. That was a hard, beautiful right to the temple he landed on Solis.

      • If the punch didn't land, then Solis wouldn't have made every action/reaction that resulted in his subsequent injuries. KO rd 1 Vitali. End

        • Like I said before... you have Tommy Morrison in your all time favs. I cant argue with that logic.. I mean if you just insist on liking white fighters try Gerry Cooney or Rocky Marciano or even Pavlik but Morrison... I cant even take you seriously when you got Morrison as a favorite. Gotta be hard being a boxing fan when you only like white fighters huh?

          • Ali 1/16th... that upsets me about as much as me getting some ass from a chick whose 1/16th white. Makes no difference.

            • just like a said Solis is a more skilled version of Samuel Peter, but that ending was bad, I give credit to Vitali it is not his fault that he couldn't get a KO with a CLEAN SHOT but a Win is a Win

Solis look like he twisted his knee or something, not sure what happened, I don't think he took a dive or quit or anything like that, with the Glancing Shot to the head and a bad knee, not sure what he could have done even if he would have been able to get back up

Replays..close up show that the punch had alot of force behind it & Solis had a delayed reaction & the punch caused his legs to momentarily be off balance & as he was going backwards..& on his way down is when he simply fell wrong because his body was in momentary seizure mode & trickled down to his legs. Vitali hit him hard with a counter that perfectly hit the spot where it momentarily scrambles your brain on a delayed reaction.. Looking at it from several views & especially from the top view..you can see that the punch had alot of force behind it..even though it didn't seem that way. & Solis was throwing at Vitali with all his force behind it as you can clearly see by his facial expression.. he is no Audley Harrison & did try to win that rd. He underestimated the fact that Vitali can counter him that quickly. You people need to recognize this & stop trolling.

                • I saw it. The punch made contact, and Solis's legs went: "Oh ****!" Then injury. How does he resume his career after that, though. Back to the end of the line.

Either way Chopper look at the pound for pound list... it's pretty clear who dominates.
it's boxingscene. haha i used to get upset over racism on boxing scene exhibited towards whites and blacks. blacks say just as much racist ****. even in the sport of boxing we see the double standard. EX: hopkins says "he will never lose to a white boy" (well, in fact he did, but that's aside the point). can you IMAGINE if calzaghe had said "ill never lose to a black boy?" (which he hasn't, but once again, neither here nor there. . . ) and james toney. then hopkins basically says that latino, asian and white fighters can't compete with blacks. . . today in boxing id say latino races DEFINITELY have the widest bullpen of world class boxers.
