Lol..you've mostly talked out of your a$$$ on this thread...so i've basically ignored you & FYI i did givwe credit for Solis holding his own for 67% of a rd.... don't make me get the compubox statistics to show you the discrepancy in ALL punches that landed & got thrown...as Vitali still is the only one in boxing history never to be outthrown or outlanded in a fight...power punches inc. still intact after tonight.. so go claim that Vitali was losing on the scorecards at the end of the bout & see what a fool you really are.... label stands!

Gotta be hard being a boxing fan when you only like white fighters huh?
Lol, what does my favorite fighters have to do with anything? I asked this before. Logic? I'm not sure you understand what you are saying. (I'm not saying that has anything to do with your skin color, but maybe it does. Who knows.)

I'm not some idiot who rates his favorite fighter based on who the world thinks is the best all time or anything. It's not a ratings system dufus and it seems you use it and it's incredibly narrow minded.

I didn't choose him because he was white. How does that make sense? Jones is my favorite fighter of all time, but I favor white fighters? I like his style and have been watching boxing for about 20 or so years. Last time I checked he was African American as I assume you are. You have shown all the signs you are.

Oh ok, good, because you actualy strike me as kinda racist in a way.

          • The way he was throwing at Vit does not look like a man who's about to take a dive the first opportunity he gets.

Vitali's a freaking monster and he got an injury. Damn shame.

            • what happened was solis threw the left and then tried to land with the right hand but missed and was overstretching, then he was moving backwards and on the backfoot of balance.

he got slightly clipped with a temple type shot and also went off balance, jolted his knee, twisted his ankle, then when he tried to get up,he has that weight on his mid section that stopped him being able to get up as quick and easy as he should be able to,and also on the way up you can see he twists his ankle again and can barely stand up straight.

the ref should have recognised that he had damaged his legs and ankle,he should have allowed solis time to help his legs and ankle a bit, seen solis eyes and decide if he was cleaered eyes or not??, also to allow a better fight for everyone and a better clearer ending for everyone.

Solis did land clean on vitali,he was tight and sharp, with quick sharp clean punches landed on vitali.Vitali before then didnt land anything decent,he wasnt as leaned back as usual,he had low left hand and even dipped his head forward open for quick punches,he looked awkward and sloppy with his movement.

it would not suprise me for a ref to be biased towards vitali, and see vitali getting hit clean would perhaps give him a lil reason to stop the fight as soon as he could, although vitali would most likely have worn down solis/solis got tired and lost pop in his punches and slowed down his movement, with vitali also landing and causing solis to get hurt and stop moving so freely.

i know now that haye will move and hit faster and harder than solis, box and move much smarter, and will land clean and hard on either brother for a big ko/tko win.

              • It was a temple shot. Solis was knocked out seriously. Another one bites the dust.

                  1. Joe Calzaghe - fought and beat Jones in the U.S. What more can you say.
                  2. Carl Froch - didnt like him at first but he earned my respect from not avoiding fighters. He's willing to fight anyone. Including future hall of famers.
                  3. Kelly Pavlik - Hopkins exposed him as a one dimensional fighter... but I credit him with putting Jermain Taylor on the path to retirement... tough white boy.
                  4. Gerry Cooney - Bruiser. Willing to fight anyone and would knock a MF senseless.
                  5. Ricky Hatton - aside from him being decapitated by Pacquaio he fought the best and had career defining fights against future hall of famers. Fought PBF tough... just didnt have enough versatility in his repertoire.
(bolded) You are a complete moron now I see. I'll speak to you again when I take your 30k points.

Vitali was following him around, pawing with shots that were getting blocked and countered. Now I'm not implying that Solis was dominating, or that he even would have been able to keep it up for long, but without the knockdown, it was going to be Solis 10-9.
Like i said..Vk was the aggressor. Solis did do some good work countering but felt Vitali was the one who was doing most of the throwing & he did outland & outthrow him.. It was close..not denying that but I wouldn't say Solis was winning the rd. I had no dount if it was going to be a long fight.. Solis would win 2 rds or so based on his boxing ability alone. There's been a couple who've won thew first rd from Vitali.. Sanders & Hide come to mind... but as you can plainly see now again..Klitschko doesn't like to be trailing on scorecards even if it's after just one rd & will make you pay. Let's talk about Solis' DEFENCE as that's part of outboxing your opponent... clearly wasn't as great as we were led to believe..didn't expect for him to have a glass jaw or a soft head...i guess we'll just have to chalk this one up to Vitali's power.

Thanks for having the sense to comprehend that when so many on here don't.
