Wlad landed a left hook, stepping into his punch. The blow landed somewhere towards the front of Chambers's face. There was some force behind Klitschko's shot, and it landed in an area that's much more likely to cause a momentary blackout.

I don't agree with your comparison.

I freeze-framed that right from Klitschko; it landed on the top of Solis's head. No way that blow would've fazed Solis...no way.
SpongeBob hates boxing, he wanted a big payday and then bye-bye.

Oner is a crook and facilitated it for a nice cut.

Solis looked like he was holding his own & actually could reach Vitali's head when he countered.
I agree with your whole post except for this portion. Solis was winning the round. He caught Vitali with some hard shots, and seemed to be working his gameplan flawlessly. Vitali was following him around, pawing with shots that were getting blocked and countered. Now I'm not implying that Solis was dominating, or that he even would have been able to keep it up for long, but without the knockdown, it was going to be Solis 10-9.

I'm not easily impressed period... if you come up for air from sucking Vitali's **** then maybe you could have your own opinion too.

Exactly... it was easily 10-9 round.

Even if he WAS "winning the round," troll, the round wasn't over, and he got knocked on his fat ass.

So what you are saying is pointless trolling drivel.

Oh yeah, and **** Cassius Clay, too.

To say Solis clearly won the round is laugable. It was a close round, but Vitali controlled it with his jab and ring generalship. However, I will concede that Solis could have landed enough shots to win, but either way it was close and to say Solis clearly won it is asinine.

Also there was no fix, Klitchko clearly landed a shot on Solis who proceeded to fall down whilst hurting his leg.

i watched it on epix tv that had lennox lewis, tony paige & dan rafael joined them after.the theories they gave were interesting.they brought up that maybe there was a pre existing injury & a postponement or cancellation would be very bad for solis finacially so if he was hurt before there was no way he would give away this payday & hed go ahead with the fight. there was the bruce seldon theory...did he go down for the easy payday...solis really doesnt like boxing & this could really be it.did he take the money & run? if he did go down i will say vitali had NOTHING to do with it.i expected vitali to beat him easily but man this ******...the first round was ok & i was thinking maybe solis will show more then i expected....guess i was wrong...i hope it was an injury

                    1) This was 100% clearly a knockdown from a temple shot that landed no matter how flush or hard.
                    2) the temple shot cause Solis to lose his equilibrium and possibly caused him to roll his ankle in the process of trying to steady himself.
                    3) The problem Solis was having trying to get up had way, way more to do with being punch drunk than being injured.

Take a second to think about what has happens any time ever when a fighter was injured. They point their glove at the injured spot and motion to the ref.

Solis did nothing of the sort.

Result? LEGIT KO FROM A PUNCH.

                    END OF THREAD.

(Nobody complained when Tyson used to KO guys in 1 or two rounds, it should be no different now that the Klitschko's do it occasionally even though it is more calculation than aggression)
Here's the problem: Vitali's right did not land on Solis's temple. It landed near the top of the left side of Solis's head! It's quite clear, if you freeze-frame the video.
