Pac Padding his records? I dont see Andre Berto anywhere near the P4P top 10 or even considered one of the best or elite fighter etc etc. Berto is UNDEFEATED Welterweight Champion right? why he is not considered the best? because boxing analysts, experts know the talent when they see one. you can hate all you want. Pac makes all his fights look like so easy they even want to rank him now close to Ali and SRR.

I'm not hating. I just think Pac is coasting thru lesser opponents for easy bread. People like sergio and cotto are a dying breed because they personify what a champion is all about. Taking on all comers. Who gives a shyt how many straps Manny wins it's about the quality, not the quantity of opposition. When you throw someone like Martinez in with Dzinziruk it's easy to judge the loser as being inferior/bum whatever because the landscape changes and suddenly it's a B-guy against a world class boxer displaying his superior skill but under different circumstances you might be surprised that the once undefeated journeyman is actually decent in his other fights. So yea experts/analysts/observers can overlook the younger untested guys all they want but that gives them no right to single out a good challenge when it presents itself. Cotto was a 10-1 favorite to smoke Mayorga on Sat but the fight actually went down the stretch...upsets happen and Pac should be no exception to that. I say stop protecting him, Arum, pick someone who will push him to the edge. Wonder how fast Valero would have rocketed up the pound for pound ranks if he'd managed to secure a fight with pac and managed to KO him @ welter..

Pacquiao just beat the crap out of the guy who beat the crap out of Martinez while giving away 17 lbs. In case you don't know it - his name is Margarito. Now, don't you think Martinez should redeem himself by fighting Margarito?
Sorry to say this but right now, Margarito is the only common denominator and the result arrow is pointing towards Pacquiao. Martinez needs to stop calling out Floyd and Pac. Him calling out Floyd and Pac is like Floyd and Pac calling out Donaire. If he wants respect, call out the bigger dudes like Andre Ward or Lucian Bute. PW is a limp tree. thats the problem. pacquiao is not fighting bums. he is fighting great fighters but is so good he makes them look like bums. cotto, clottey,marg,and mosley are not bums. they would beat the majority of fighters out there.

Martinez is good, but I disagree with him completely. Right now I think he's in competition for the #3 spot against Donaire.
