And even vs Chavez, if he had any power at all maybe he could of backed JCC up at least once, I saw that draw coming a mile away!

I have no problem with people who like Whitaker more but there is no way he is a better pure, slick, or technical boxer than Floyd. Floyd is also a smarter fighter in the ring which is yet another advantage over Pea. And someone wrote Pea is physically stronger, I doubt that to.
Floyd is a strong dude, don't get me wrong, but Whitaker is clearly the physically stronger guy. He wasn't a big dude either and he was able to move much bigger guys, Tito, Oscar, JCV, at only 5'5 1/2 too!

Pernell would have dominated the blown up Marquez, especially that version of Mosley. In all seriousness, that Mosley wouldn't have done anything with Whitaker, mismatch IMO.

Neither Zab nor Sharma Mitchell are slick fighters and compared to Whitaker they are face first brawlers in comparison. Really not a good comparison at all there.

Whitaker beat Mcgirt clearly, on both occasions.

You saw the draw coming a mile away???? I mean seriously??? Come on, now.

Has Whitaker fought someone like Floyd? No.

Has he fought someone considered as great or greater than Floyd? Yes.

Floyd has fought no one on Pernell Whitakers level.

I'm actually the exact opposite to your last part. I love Floyd, he's my favourite active fighter and of my favourite fighters of all time. I prefer him to Whitaker by quite a bit.

But how anyone can say Floyd has ever advantage over Pernell Whitaker is extremely puzzling.

              I think that is conclusive....

All I'm saying is that Floyd has fought plenty of guys that are comparable and even better than Pea's opponents but the talent gap is so wide Floyd looks like he's cherrypicking. Whitaker's opponents always had a chance hence he was never accused of hand picking opponents. Pea vs the Mosley and Marquez Floyd fought would be seen as competitive match ups, but are tune ups for Floyd.

How can anybody in their right mind call Oscar "young and inexperience" at the time he fought Whitaker?

To think Oscar wasn't prime is asinine.

He was already a 3 division title holder.

With a 2 round destruction of Ruelas, wins over title holders like Chicanito Hernandez, wins over contenders like Molina, Leija, Paez, Gonzalez(who was close to P4P level fighter at the time), also the destruction of a faded JCC.

To say he was inexperience is absolutely ridiculous.

I really don't know what to say man, now I'm speechless...

Whitaker would have easily dominated those two, especially considering the circumstances Floyd fought them at. The only thing I can say is...WATCH Pernell Whitaker.
