Froch is a great example why resume is so important

Nobody knows about Showtime dummy? He had a big segment on 360. Ive seen lots of Froch's fights. These other guys are pushed because they are more marketable not because theyre blackballing Froch. I think he has a lil personality but it is dry and only targets a certain audience. Khan rubs shoulders with famous people and loves the camera. Haye road the Klitsko frenzy in. Hatton is everybody's drinking buddy. Froch the tough guy in the ring and the tea sipping royalty out of the ring. Media doesnt know what to really make of him.Comment

This is the UK, you ultramaroon, we're talking about the potential domestic fanbase, we don't get Showtime. Froch's fights since '09 have been shown on a crappy little PPV sports/porno channel (which wasn't even made available through all providers) with almost zero promotional push.
So dumb.
^^ This right here tells me you have no idea about what Khan's appeal is or ever was to the UK public.
Goodness, the dumbness is staggering.Comment

We're not talking about the boxing per se, we're talking about the culture here.
Both the US and the UK have to manufacture boxing stars, but the US and UK markets are nuanced. You 2 guys clearly don't understand the nuances of the UK market; not all Americans are as obtuse, or pretend to know as much about the culture here, as Pullcounter and studentofthegam.
"So much TV time"? Really?
Do expound. Tell me about all this TV time and huge UK backing he's received. In fact, tell all the UK based posters here, because we haven't seen it.Comment

You gotta admire the yanks persistence, they still insist they're right despite being repeatedly proven wrongComment

Ill put it this way. I've seen more live Froch than I remeber seeing Ricky Hatton pre Mayweather. And Ricky was a star before I layed eyes oon him. And more than Khan and Haye combined. So you all tell me what the difference is really. Somebody somewhere wanted him to be a star.
Good lord, its not ***in rocket science is it?Comment
