Haye was talking Froch up in the last ringside saying how his level of competition has been spectacular
And if Sky had put weight behind him at the start of Froch's title run, how big of a domestic name might he have been by now?

Pullcounter obviously believes that if a fighter's star potential isn't picked up by a Sky Sports, it MUST be for a good reason. Rank incompetence on the part of those who should've been picking it up isn't a possibility he's willing to consider. LMAO.

doesn't matter, froch doesn't have the personality that hatton, haye and khan do.

he just doesn't have that it factor.

Sir ok you are more of a UK expert. Damn thats just your little side arguement to avoid the obvious and thats that Froch is not that big of a star and may never be. Gotdamn buddy, a little old yank like me can see the obvious.

Jay-Z: "You made it a hot line. I made it a hot song"

I watched Lennox and some "football" games and that didnt stick out til I saw Hatton. The only point of view I can have is how effective it was stateside. Pull that skirt down your ruffle drawls is showin.

Well, I'm more of an authority than you.

And I certainly have a far greater understanding of what makes the UK domestic scene tick than you do.

Everyone can have an 'opinion', P, but not all opinions are equal; educated opinions have greater worth than horse-hockey spewed from the mouths of adolescents who just like to talk to hear their own voices.

If sky had him from Pascal he'd be huge by now, no doubt about that. I was grateful primetime came in and oicked up the super6 cos no-one else did, but they did nothing what so ever to promote it except have a preview on their channel - who no-one outside of the boxing forums even knew existed.

if sky can make Haye v Harrison successful, Froch would be a superstar with their backing

Oh my damn. There is a reason he doesnt have that backing bruh. Hell "if" I received TV backing then obvious ly Id be a big star. And I dont do anything to be famous for. You are saying nothing with that.

lols... you act like khan, haye, and hatton were manufactured by sky sports... they weren't.

of the 3, khan perhaps is the most manufactured, but haye and hatton have mad charisma.

you can't just force froch down people's throat and hope they'll take to him... it's the same thing berto is going through now in the USA... HBO put a lot of money to push berto, but berto can't sell 500 tickets to any of his fights.

you can't manufacture a boxing superstar like america idol or whatever the equivalent is in the UK. that's not how boxing works.
