If you've ever watched any fights this is fairly obvious on the overall. I'd be happy to educate you some more if you'd like.

its the special forces in today's time. they have advancement in weaponry & strategy.

Our athletes advantage is our better training, better equipment, better fields etc...

jab, you cant have it both ways. You cant say older is better then use the reason well if we had today's equipment training,

      YOU DONT. OLD ATHLETES DONT.

      THAT'S THE DIFFERENCE. THAT'S THE ARGUMENT.[/QUOTE]

Where exactly is the better training? Fighters fought longer, more often and more rounds in earlier era's. They did it with less weight classes, less titles and inferior equipment. Where is the better training?
Training is enhanced by modern day science. Plenty of new str and conditioning techniques have been developed and still being improved. If you do not believe this you are stuck in the past.

Jab are you telling me Lebron james wouldnt anhilate Oscar Robinson prime for prime. Shaq wouldnt toss Wilt around the paint like a rag doll. Aaron wasnt a better overall player than Ruth. You would rather have the best running back from 1950 than lets say Adrian Peterson. I say give me the Dallas Cowboy's from the 90's over the 70's Pittsburg dynasty any day. Give me Sirena 10 times out of 10 over Martina Nav. Ali trumps Dempsey all day.

Answer my question than.....why did fighter go longer and throw as many and more punches in the past? By your logic this shouldn't be able to happen, yet I can cite DOZENS of example off the top of my head. You're making a claim yet not backing it up.

You're citing individual examples and not looking at era's as a whole. You're also doing it with sports with huge advancements in equipment, not athletic ability.

its quite simple really. how many point guards in the 50s & 60s hell the 70s were throwing down alley oop dunks?

                    how many do that now?

you can also take every bill russell & wilt chamberlain statistical brilliance with a huge grain of salt.

Another answer with no logical basis behind it. Yeah, its time for you to go to bed.
