Although at the end of the day Pacqiauo did win regardless to the controversy and it was close in fairness.

Maybe it's just overshadowed by his incredible 2009 but his 09 was alot better than his 08 in my opinion its impossible to dispute his 09.
Well that's looking back in hindsight...I think it's easy to look back at it...But, the fact is Pac wasn't suppose to win that fight. And, everybody says the Oscar about WW. But, nobody mentions that not only Pac went up 2 weight-class to fight him. But, he was at 135 for just one fight...If you really look at it you can say he went up 3 weight-classes.

I feel if you felt beforehand that Pac was going to beat Oscar.

Then that's fine if you don't want to give him credit.

But, if you thought that Pac couldn't really win the fight. Then you have have to give him credit.

For example I give Floyd the up most credit for beating the likes of Mosley. Because, before the fight even though I thought Floyd would win, I favored Floyd I still thought Mosley was a legit thread...

And, I could be like these F'ing idiots like Wess and try to diminish that win by Floyd. By making all type of excuses, as in Shane was old, worn out, shot, was coming off the longest layoff of his career, 16 month layoff, and blah blah...But, that would be very faggotry(not a real word) of me to do so. Because, I knew all of that beforehand and I still thought he was a threat. So of course I give Floyd credit.

People knew that Oscar was old, people knew that Oscar was going back down to 147 and hadn't been there in years, people knew that light feather fisted -at 130- Forbes marked up Oscar face pretty damn bad. People knew all of that and they still thought Oscar was cherry picking a small guy in Pac. So not to give Pac credit, I mean C'mon.

    • Pacquiao will lose to Marquez for a 3rd time if they fight again.

But like the 2nd fight. Arum will have handpicked corrupt judges in place.

Marquez can't KO the roidman. So he's in a no win situation.

        Hatton..... yea, but.

I just don't rate the Cotto win as highly as most other posters seem to.

Margarito and Clottey both battered Cotto. EVERYBODY was saying that Cotto looked shop-worn and faded after Clottey. Miguel was not on top of his game, he had no trainer to speak of, and he most certainly was not in his prime..... plus, Pacquiao tried to drain him on the scales.

Thats was NOT a prime Cotto, and the catch-weight demand soured that achievement even further. But it was obvious that would always happen had Pac won, so nobody can be too surprised about that now.

Marquez had a better chance of beating Pac back in 2008, than ANY of Manny's opponents since.

Obviously that is no longer the case.
It might not have a been a prime Cotto. But, it's still a good win. I mean beating Hopkins right now is still considered a good win. And, he's past his prime.

I don't even think Cotto was weight-drained either. IMDAZED who was in the weigh-in for Cotto-Clottey said that Cotto who weighed in at 146 was laughing it up after wards. While it was Clottey who was drinking gallons of water after the weigh-in. That tells me Cotto had no problems at all making 146, Clottey was the one arguably drained making 147 or had tons of problems making it. So I doubt Cotto was drained at 145.

It was a legit fight going in...Again everybody in hindsight likes to pick apart wins. I could do that also...But, if I felt one way going into it. I'm not going to try to diminish it after the fact.

Seriously, who though Pac was gonna beat DLH???? He moved up 2 weight classes to fight him bro, come one now.
I did. As a matter of fact I didn't even watch that shyt until months after (one reason my son was born in Dec the other reason is I didnt give a shyt about it)
Anyway I said Hoya was shot. I said Hoya wouldn't let his punches go. I said he would be drained. I also said he would have no chance due to losing all that weight and hadn't made WW in a nearly a decade.

Good win for Pac but come on now even Roach (Hoya's former trainer) basically said everything I said about De La Hoya before the fight. If Hoya was anthing else Roach wouldnt have allowed Pac to fight him. Just like he wouldn't allow him to fight Martinez at JMW or Mosley when he was the #1 WW, too much of a threat. Roach has said he protects Pac.

Pacs fight with Hoya is like most of Pac's recent fights, all hype little threat. Disappointing. Overall good for Pac as Hoya called him out.

But its not like he beat the Hoya Mayweather beat or beat the Hoya Mosley beat. Pac got a washed up Hoya much like Pac's recent "selected" lottery winners.

Its whatever though at least he's fighting right? Even if its vs fighters who haven't won in a few years???? ummmm nooooo....... UFC anyone????

Now, its possible this trilogy could be done in November,

and people are still crying, s hitting all over themselves and bleeding from their rectums.

Exactly the same thing that happened in regards to Mosley.
Many of us knew it would happen with Marquez too.

I love it. I love it because it shows that no matter who this guy fights,

              it hurts their feelings.
I know right. This reminds me of when Floyd moved up to WW in 2006 and beat 2 out of the TOP 3 guys right off the bat.

People shat all over themselves about Floyd fighting the # 3 WW in Judah who lost to the #1 WW in Baldo. So what did Floyd do? He fought BOTH to become the #1 WW and SILENCED everyone (or so he thought). People still shat and are still shatting themselves. Its crazy. Is Pac the new Mayweather?

Pac is the man at the top of the food chain now and he's been there for a while. Its quite natural for him to have detractors and it simply comes with the territory of being the best of the best.

in that case, Mosley should go to the source of such super duper ped: Floyd sr.!

the guy has the distinction of being the exclusive distributor of A-side meth. Its rumored to be so good, even bullets would bounce off ya! Guaranteed!

oh, and before i forget, he's also rumored to offer the one and only PREDATOR JUICE on the side. but that's only during Halloween though.
