I liked your posts in the other thread about Estrada, but you're coming off as a complete idiot right now. The slandering of Joe Frazier has got to stop. at the end of the day the guy only lost to Foreman and Frazier his whole career. Frazier was an absolute beast and he was a much better more skilled inside fighter than Peter ever was.

Frazier was obviously FASTER than Peter because Frazier was 30lbs LIGHTER than Peter. He obviously had better ring stamina too for the very same reason.

Obviously Peter's qualities MORE than compensate, such as chin, power, strength, resistance, that's the way it works.

What about skills? Stylistically Peter and Frazier are very much comparable. Both employ a bob and weave tactic, both are march forward maulers who keep the pressure up. And they are both shorties.

However Peter can be seen to have the tighter defence of the 2. He is more guarded, displays much more respect for his opponents fire and does not wing shots in without any thought of defence like Frazier did..

Why? Because he had too. In Peter's day, the opponents hit really hard. Good chin or not, if you took too many hard shots it was lights out.

In Frazier's day, nobody really hit that hard in general, you could afford to be a punching bag because you were still likely to survive. And it shows that Frazier seemed to have ducked/not fought many of the harder punching fighters of his time like Sonny Liston, Mac Foster, Earnie Shavers, Ken Norton and Cleveland Williams. And the only time he did fight what today we would describe as a hard puncher (George Foreman) he was brutally and decisively annihilated!
