well for starters
the Rojas fight was for his interim belt and Vic's WBA belt
Rojas after his loss to Vic went on to become a world champion again this past year
that makes him a two time world champion
and no I won't stop talking about Chino Garcia
why? well because you came in here trying to invalidate Rojas as anything of note for Vic without realizing that Montiel has questionable guys on his list as well.
in other words I am doing a comparison. That is how we assess whose resume is better for the most part.
you bring up Rojas I bring up Chino

It was E-4-E who made a list that included Rojas and all I was ask him if he considered Rojas an elite fighter and you get all defensive.
Of course both have questionable guys. They have start somewhere and every now and then they have a tune up.
The interim belt is not world championship belt.
Furthermore, he won the vacant belt against Kohei Kono. Who is not a great fighter.Comment

Mijares is a great victory for Vic but not Arce come on he was awsome but he was past it already hell i knew he would lose thought by early koIn Vic's defense, he was lineal and undisputed champion super-flyweight (only the 2nd ever undisputed champ in the division's history).
His wins over Mijares and Arce are arguably just as good/if not better than Montiel's wins over Hasgawa and Castillo. However Montiel battered Hasegawa in Japan, which deserves a lot of praise.
I'm undecided, that's why I made this poll - to see what BoxingScene thinks.
Rojas is another good victory for VicComment
