Because at 118 Moreno is levels above Vic. I mean levels above Vic...Vic would bring nothing to the table that would bother Moreno. Nothing.

Never seen moreno fight but from what i hear on here he is a boring fighter who hasnt beaten many quality fighters and when he fought cermeno he struggled.

Depends on what your definition of boring is.

He has beaten quality fighters so much so that he could arguably ranked #1 at 118 due to the quality fighters he has beaten and overall body of work at 118.

Cermeno is not a bad fighter at all. And, I would favor Cermeno to beat Vic also. The first fight was close but Moreno edged it out. The 2nd fight was a more clear cut victory for Moreno. Cermeno was not only a bad style match up but Cermeno is a very rough and dirty fighter.

He has only lost once by split decision in a 4 round fight years ago.

Moreno is arguably the most underrated fighter in the sport right now. He's not as good as Whitaker. But, he's the closest thing to Whitaker we have right now.

Truly brilliant and skilled fighter. Doesn't have any pop but has great ring generalship.

That is also very true. I mean Moreno is like a couple inches taller than Donaire is. So Moreno is pretty big for the weight-class and even just now has ballooned up to like 140.

But, not only does he have the size advantage over Vic. He also has the skills and boxing IQ over Vic.

Syderenko was a very good win at the time. And, it was 2x...That version of Syderenko was a better version than the one that Donaire faced. Also has a win over Monshipour who was rated at the time.

Donaire hasn't done anything to be ranked ahead of Moreno at 118. Montiel has the better singular win in Hasegawa but overall body of work at 118 he's is not better than Moreno. The only one with the body of work at 118 that is better than Moreno is Agbeko(another underrated fighter)body of work.

And, that is why I said arguably.

The first fight was close, could go either way, but he won a close but clear one in the second fight with Cermeno.

In addition, Cermeno is an ugly fight for just about everyone at bantamweight. He's a good fighter, but his dirty tactics and constant movement make it even worse for opponents. Haven't seen his fight versus Terrazas though.

How are his two wins versus Sidorenko not good?

Sidorenko should have lost to Agbeko, sure, but he still beat Poonsawat clearly (although he didn't shut him out as one card suggested) and deserved a win over Cordoba in the first fight (haven't seen the second). Plus, in the end, Sidorenko was a pretty good fighter and highly ranked bantamweight and Moreno decisioned him twice, in Germany. Not bad for a guy who can't punch.

Vic's power hasn't really travelled up with him, but I'd say he's got enough power to be more than dangerous at 118.

Montiel is definitely the biggest puncher in the division though.
