Ward fought his style of fighting tonight, the difference was that his style just happened to be Bika's fight. He was strong enough and rough enough to be a problem for Ward, he had no problem headbutting, elbowing, rabbit punching, or anything else involved in those rough inside fights.

Andre would have made it much easier on himself if he would've fought on the outside.

Calzaghe and Bute boxed on the outside and wanted no part of inside fighting against Bika.

We know you hate Calzaghe. You cannot be fair and admit that, unlike Ward, he's never had to be protected and assisted by crooked home referees.
You haven't really watched Calzaghe's fake ko's, early stoppages, etc ALL of which took place in HIS very own backyard....

No. I've seen ALL of Joe Calzaghe's pro fights. And I haven't seen any blatently crooked refereeing.

Joe was never a dirty fighter. And he clearly won his fights, so there was no need for crooked judges.

And Joe actually had a lot of his important fights in other countries: England, Scotland, Germany, Denmark, and the USA.

You were completely wrong about Froch-Abraham so I guess you had to resort to this.

            Resort to what?

I thought Abraham-Froch was an even match. At first I thought Abraham by KO, then I was thinking Froch by decision, and then after listening to Dwyer's YouTube analysis and prediction, I went back to Abraham by KO.

No, I didn't think Froch would dominate. But in various internet polls, more people picked Abraham to win than picked Froch.

I think you are wrong to support Ward just because he's an American. You know it's not fair that he gets home advantage in every Super Six fight, so he can use crooked home referees who allow him to fight as dirty as he wants (repeatedly headbutt, use his elbows, hold his opponents arms, etc).

Calzaghe fought a sloppy fight with Bika also. Bute beat Bika, but he also looked terrible beating Andrade the first time they fought. If anyone knows about crooked refs, it's Bute. A win is a win, and you can't and won't always look perfect winning. Ward fought a guy he didn't have to fight...a dangerous guy at that. Ward won, and he lives to fight/excite another day...

Calzaghe and Bute are better fighters than Ward, though.

Fighting Bika is like fighting a Mayorga. You can't use the so-called normal approach against these types of guys. Vernon forrest found out against Mayorga that conventional methods don't always work in a fight. Bika would rather slug than box as Mayorga. Ward had to buckle down and fight Bika on the inside. Bika if given room is a dangerous guy to be in front of...

Cal is retired and when Ward retires, we'll make those comparisons then. I'd have to see Bute beat Ward for me to believe Bute is better right now.
