Becuz boxers tear there bodies up to make weight. They dehydrate themselves which, in reality is not good for the body. Now they have to lose even more weight? Since their bodies are already drained of fat and water, the only thing left is muscle. Losing muscle is not good for anybody. In boxing, every pound makes a difference whether u believe it or not

15 pound weight advantage helloooooooo!!!!! It's not about gaining an advantage in pacs case, but limiting the advantage his opponent will have.

Seriously you want everything so stringently traditional while failing to realize that Flyweights traditionally don't challange for wlterweight title and wleterweight title challanger traditionally isnt outweighed by 15 poundd on fight night.

Same day weigh ins stopped over 20 years ago so what exactly are you talking about.

As for Williams, shame on him for being self proclaimed that he is the most avoided man from 147-160 and now asks for a catchweight with somebody that he has already fought, obviously it is asked for his advantage.

If you want to come anywhere under the limit that is fine but don't make the other guy be obligated to come under the limit
Nobody is making them smart guy they have to agree to it.

No because they cancel eachother out.

Pistol, I think the promoters pressure the fighters a bit, though. I could be wrong, but I think Cotto was receiving a lot of pressure from many fronts to take Pacquiao on at 145. Originally Cotto wanted the fight to be either at 147 for the strap or whatever for no strap. Pacquiao (arum) managed to get everything for Pacquiao.

You ask and I responded to your question but I clearly see your agenda reading your past posts

What? You said 2 lbs is meaningless though. So what difference does it make if hes 13lbs heavier or 15lbs heavier? (I dont know where ur getting these figures btw)

Hey thats between him and the promoter but from what i read losing that one extra pound really didn't affect him in anyway. remember in his previous bout Cotto weighed 146 so come on a pound in all reality is cutting one big meal in half.
