How dare pac limit how much his opponent will outweigh him by come fight night how dare he!!!
      1. Lets say instead of going up 15 pounds he outweight pac by 12 pounds did the weight limt help pacman.

      2. Once you make the offical weight limt where in the rule book dose it state that you cant come in at a higher weight come fight night.

Exactly. Not 141-145. Theres already a limit - 147. Why make a new one? Would you condone fighting for the welterweight title at 141?

Fighters through history have gone up in weight and havehad to fight bigger guys that weigh on the limit. So why should Pac, Williams or anyone be different.

And each weight class has range of diffrent weights to identify it. Welter weight is not just 147 pounds and thats it. According to your logic anyone who weighs 146 at the weigh in is in a completely diffrent weight class to someone who weighs 147 at the weigh in.

No because they were both allowed to weight at the 147lb limit. Making a 145lb limit is a new weight class

It doesn't say that which is why i don't have a problem with fighters rehydrating plus it makes the sport safer, but to say that Pac had an advantage because his opponent only outweighed him by 12 pounds instead of 15 is ridiculous.

You act like they are being mandated to fight at a catch weight by one of the Alphabet orginizations which is 100% not happening. Every fighter in a catchweight bout has done it out of their own free will and not one has complained or made excuses about it. hell none of the recent fighters have said that even affected them. So again where is this great advantage that 2-3 pounds supposiably produces?

I think this is just more about fans being able to make excuses for their favorite fighters or to simply blast fighters that they don't like. Really thats what it boils down to.
                    As usual, good point.

And again for a catchweight both fighters have to agree. And 145 is in the welterweight division. Nowhere does it say that championships have to be contested at the full weight limit. So if they are making up weight classes then you yourself are being a hypocrit because you are making up non existent rules.
