Throwing more punches doesn't extend to controlling the fight. Landing punches does. I could run at a boxer and swing 50 times and only land 3, that doesn't mean I had any control of the fight. Hopkins on 3 occasions held and got in a couple of shots, but Taylor did it twice in the fight as well. Compubox added several shots for Taylor for that reason as well.

In the fight, the HBO annoucers said Hopkins had only landed 5 punches of the ones he threw in the early rds or something, this is a cover up, just to make Hopkins look good, cause he ****ig lost 9 rds of that fight, in the early rds he was just running around, how could you give somebody points, for just dancing around the ring, and not throwing?

Judges aslo gave Castillo the Casamayor fight, **** them, not only was Taylor landing, but he aslo was throwing, which Hopkins just backed off after every punch Taylor threw at him. neither man was dominant in that fight, close fight that could have went either way, I'll bet you've been DYING for Hopkins to lose ever since he owned Tito, here's your big chance little guy, live it up!

My opinions have a factual base surrounding them. I didn't have anything staked on this fight, nor did I particularly care who won. But I can call bull **** when i see it. If one person can lay down a good argument for Taylor winning the fight I'll be happy. But I can't stand this, "Taylor won becuaes Hopkins ran" or "Taylor won, plain and simple." I have yet to see a good, concise argument from anybody on this board for why Taylor should have won. So, if you can, please feel free to. If not, shut the **** up.

Do you watch boxing? By the looks of your avatar you watch mimes. You just hate Hopkins and don't make any sense. A lot of Taylor's so called win rounds could have gone either way. That is why some people have Hopkins winning the fight. He threw the hardest punches and did the most damage. There is no mistake that when Hopkins wanted to win a round he did. We will see in the next fight if Taylor has what it takes to keep Hopkins from taking the belt back. Which in my opinion will happen.
