Giving Hopkins the fight by four rounds is insane. Everyone saw Taylor take the first half of the fight by staying more active. Hopkins was content to let the kid do his thing and allowed him to establish way too many rounds. The second half of the fight I was relieved when Hopkins finally picked up the pace and starting putting hands on Taylor and it was apparent that Hopkins could do as he pleased with him.
Hopkins was far more effective in the later rounds than Taylor ever was in the early rounds, but even I knew that the best he could hope for was a draw since he started way too late. I was screaming at Hopkins to get a 2-point round to seal the victory but he just couldn't bring it home.
The match should have been a draw but a single judge un-****ing-believably gave Taylor the 12th round. That dip**** let the hype cloud his judgement obviously as there was no way in hell Hopkins lost the 12th round.
