Who really won the first Mayweather v Castillo fight?
Collapse

Castillo got robbed heavy, even worse then Whitaker did against Chavez.
Whitaker at least got draw,Castillo didnt even get that but he won at least 8 rounds on everyone scorecard.
At everyone had Castillo winning 5 rounds in second fight,I mean everyone!
115-113 115-113 116-113 Lederman 115-113
Its like *****s said when is 1 round split then it can go either way so then Castillo won second fight alsoComment

Lederman also had ricky hatton ahead by a few rounds goin into rd 6 vs mayweather, why r u guys still talking about this and pacquiao vs marquez II, get a lifeComment

Damnit, i accidentally chose castillo... i meant to pick mayweather.. (i guess the opposite of that happened on fight night... lol *bad joke*)
I'm kind of a stickler about declaring a fighter a winner of a fight if they didn't actually win the fight, its sort of just a pet peave of mine.
I concider Diaz victory over paulie a victory for Diaz (even though i think paulie should have won)
I concider Cintron vs Martinez a draw (even though Martinez got robbed)
etc etc,
the score that goes in the books is the one i go by, i'll make an argument about why it should have been awarded to the other guy, but i won't stoop to the level of saying so and so "won" the fight when they lost... Its boxing, if you leave it in the hands of the judges you take that risk...Comment

best thing is that dude Martin Castillo who just got KO d by
Jorge Arce in round 1 beat Floyd twice in amateurs.
And JLC beat Floyd twice in Pro s.
Floyd 0:4 Castillo sComment

TO me JLC lost 5 of the first six rounds and I could have scored all 6 for Floyd but Floyd did way better early on.
JLC came on strong but he did not sweep the end of the fight and did not win more than 4 rounds of the last six.
Scoring round by round Floyd wins, if the fight went 15 rounds he probably wouldn't have~Comment

I agree with taht also as judging is subjective so aslong as thing fall into the realm of possibility (even if the scores are a bit off to me), aslong as they are not totally baseless (like Holyfield being scored to win the first Lewis fight) I really try to jsut go with what the jugdes say.Damnit, i accidentally chose castillo... i meant to pick mayweather.. (i guess the opposite of that happened on fight night... lol *bad joke*)

In the end it usually washes out because guys get bad decision for and against them like Oscar.Last edited by The Gambler1981; 08-02-2010, 06:53 PM. Reason: changed the last sentence to amke more senceComment

That's exactly how the fight went, but this dude CungLe is a ******* and you know how they are. They're worse than the *****S, you know can't have a smart coversation with someone who has Floyd P4P #700's, only a ******* can come up with that number.TO me JLC lost 5 of the first six rounds and I could have scored all 6 for Floyd but Floyd did way better early on.

I know that but still staying above guys like him and talking to the points is the best way to deal with them. I doubt he will try and argue with me~Comment
