Weight matters because if Tyson beats a welterweight he shouldn't get credit for it. Period.

Manny moving around in weight is a testament to his greatness because he's moving UP in weight.

Spinks HOF status is from his career at lower weights. He came to fight Tyson at a naturally higher weight class. So Tyson's win diminishes because of this simple fact. Do you get it?

    Okay I hope you do.

Now if we are going to count Larry Holmes.... we better throw in Oscar De La Hoya for Manny Pacquiao as well right?

Manny's record against HOFer > Tyson

    Sorry son. Nice try.
If we are counting Larry Holmes who are we counting it for? Tyson or Spinks?

    If it is Spinks then...

Was Oscar De la Hoya the lineal champ? Was Larry Holmes the lineal champ? How many losses did Oscar have? How many losses did Holmes have?

    If it is Tyson then....

Who was the only man to beat Holmes at the time? Now compare that to Oscar? What was Oscar record for the 7 years priors to fighting Pac. Now what was Holmes record 7 years prior to fighting Tyson.

    Think about what you saying...

Has Pac prove himself at WW? If a WW beats him does that WW get credit for beating Pac yes or no?

Did Spinks prove himself at HW by beating the best HW in the division at the time. Thee man of the division...

I mean if you going to try then try harder if not let it go.... Because, you going to have to come harder than this if you debating against me.

I dont see the correllation. Did he not prove he was more then capable at Heavy? You act like Tyson was his first fight at Heavy.

I mean is your argument that Cotto and Hatton are better wins than Tyson KOing Spinks in 91 seconds?

When Tyson fought decent boxers they didnt drop. Pac is destroying top boxers in every division to this very day.
Tyson had a good spell. Pac is the better finisher.

Spinks win for Tyson cant be that great, because one criticism for Tyson is that he didnt beat any great heavyweights when they compare him to Ali.
So people obviously dont in hindsight give Tyson too much credit for that win, although at the time, it made Tyson as a heavyweight seem invicible.

You put average fighters in with p4p the best fighter on the planet now, and believe me, Pac will finish them like nobodies business.

Pac is fighting only proven warriors now in their primes. Theres no bruce seldons, frank bruno, and frans botha types in Pacs resume of late.

There is no Spinks on Pacs resume at all.

I think you missng the point on how good Spinks was and what his status was at Heavyweight bro.
