Better FINISHER: Pacquiao or (PRIME 80s) Tyson

This is basically what I got by no ceiling saying "Pacquiao shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Mike Tyson". Mike is my favorite fighter of all time but he isn't that great to where you can even compare other elite fighters to him. No if you said Paulie or Foreman shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Mike as far as finishing skills, then I can see than but not with a guy like Manny Pacquiao.Comment

For finishers???This is basically what I got by no ceiling saying "Pacquiao shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Mike Tyson". Im thinking Foster, Hearns, Tyson, Shavers, Jackson, etc..
Not Pacquiao.Comment

To me Tyson is clearly a better finisher although I can see a case being made in Manny's defense. But this is just my opinion thoug. I'm really nobody special and I'm just a regular poster like anyon else who posts on boxingscene. Maybe I'm completely wrong but I truly believe Mike is clearly better in this area. You are entitled to your opinion. It can be argued that Pac is a better finisher than Tyson. Tyson did of course have a very good spell in the 80's. But he was a powerful puncher more than anything. Pac is fnishing guys highly rated like Hatton, and Cotto had to run.
So depending how you want to view things you will get different answers.Comment

No Joe Louis ?, I consider him to be the best finisher of all time, once he had his man hurt it was all over for them, personally I don't think Shavers was that good of a finisher, the man had amazing power but didn't follow through at times and missed opportunities.Comment
