Is it fair for a 6'3 tall man to fight a 5'6 man because they're the same weight?

It is fair on paper but in reality it is not. We all know Paul Williams will rehydrate to 170 lbs.....so by Fight Night it will be 170 vs. 148 lbs.

How about making the weigh-in on fight night.......now that IS fair!

What do you think Margarito is going to rehydrate too? It's no different. And I can remember some fights where Pacquiao rehydrated with a lot of added weight too. I'm not opposed to same day weigh in's but lets not use as if it only applies in this situation.

Obviously not, but height and reach advantages are clearly quantifiable by the naked eye.

          Not all fights are fair!!!

When one possesses such an advantage, things are not even. When things are not even, fairness cannot be had.

          important parts bolded.

          can you understand?

Pacquiao is 3x faster than Williams... is that fair?

Pacquiaos thighs and calfs are much bigger, which is where his power comes from.

            Is that fair?

Pac has bigger calfs... That's completely unfair.

And those can be seen by the naked eye.

Pacquiao is not 3 times faster other wise he could throw 3 punches from the same arm as fast as Williams could throw 1. And are you seriously going to compare calve size advantage to 9' and 15' height and reach advantage?

You are arguing for the sake of arguing even though you know you are wrong.

                    WEIGHT CLASSES.

If Williams makes 147..... and Pac is blowing out 147lbers.

It's as fair as it gets.
