Is it fair for a 6'3 tall man to fight a 5'6 man because they're the same weight?

Clottey looked well over 160 Pounds vs. Pac so whats the excuse for Paul?
You act as if Manny was outweighing his opponents by a lot. Yes he rehydrated up to that weight but his opponents came close to that as well. Also it's actually quite normal for bigger SFW to rehydrate to the mid 140's so this is not something that is rare to see. Hell Both Barrios and Rocky Jaurez were 146 on fight night for their showdown at 130.

      was this "fair?"
Fight results are not dependent upon whether they are fair or not. And those fights you don't have the same percentage height difference as we are discussing here.

I see what you mean but at poster shouldnt be worried about Paul gaining 15 pounds when Pac did the same stuff.

How many Paul Williams fights have you seen???

He barely uses his height and reach bro.

If your asking me if Manny has been outweighed by those guys then the answer is obviously yes? And yes Tony will outweigh Manny by at least 10-15lbs. I guess you are implying he should be fighting Williams over Margarito? There makes absolutely no sense to face Williams next. I reason I see people bringing Williams name is A)just to flame or B)They are just fan boys of his, which is understandably because who wouldn't want to see their favorite fighter one of the elite guys in boxing.

actually all I want for Williams to do is beat a top WW so there won't be any weight drained excuses. If he does that then we can talk about Pac vs Pdubb at 147. It makes no sense for Manny to beat this guy and people discredit it by saying "ohh williams hasnt fought there in years", "Williams last 4 fights were at 160" or "Manny was fighting a weight drained corpse".

Nicoly Valuev was 8 inches taller and 96 pounds heavier than 46 year old Evander Holyfield. Holyfield is 6-2. Qawi 5-6. Iran Barkley 6-1. Duran 5-7. Hearns 6-2 and a half. Duran 5-7. I have a long list of examples.

I don't know bro, probably not as many as you going by your sig.

He definitely makes use of his reach unless you expect him to jab all night. Not so much his height. He does hunch over but when he needs to evade a punch while back peddling he can get tall and does from time to time. He makes use of it, he wouldn't be so good if he didn't. Just not as much as he should.

You talk as if Williams is some prospect at 147. He doesn't have to prove himself there. What do you think people are going to say after the Margarito fight? "Margarito is past it". "He's nothing without his bricks"... He was mentally drained." I heard all of those BS excuses after Margarito lost to Mosley. It won't be any different here. If Manny can beat PW the issues of Williams height and reach shouldn't be an issue. And lets not act as if Clottey and Cotto didn't re hydrate after the weigh in. Or the next opponent (who PW beat.) I guarantee that Pacquiao will get a lot more credit for beating Williams than Margarito. If that's what you're worried about.

WTF when did he become an inside fighter? Seriously man I think it's you who's never seen the man fight because he only sits there throwing a hundred punches a round without getting countered because it's all coming from range. He'd just be smothering all his punches if he did that all from the inside.

Seriously man I did a face palm when I read your statement here.
