Is it fair for a 6'3 tall man to fight a 5'6 man because they're the same weight?

It's weight classes, not height classes. Done deal, nothing else needs to be said.

I wish Floyd of Manny would fight Pwill, but I know he's wasting his time. He's got $ and fame waiting for him at 154 and 160 and he's wasting time. I think Goosen has done a horrible job promoting Pwill.
Goosen has done a horrible job. This guys a real talent and should have more recognition among the casuals. He shouldn't be going back down in weight either. He's got a good fight at 160 he should take.

Paul needs to get his ass back up to where people will fight him.

Any Floyd fan trying to ***** about Manny ducking PWill is a fa ggot ass ballhugger cuz floyd is ducking him too, OBVIOUSLY
I gotta agree. no one at 147 wants to fight pwill. except clottey.

Williams- Clottey is the worst style matchup in the entire sport.

A guy who doesn't stop throwing against a guy who doesn't stop blocking.

Pacquiao Clottey II but worse, and both bring little in the way of fans.

Agreed, he's got the types of options he was looking for before at 154 (Cotto/Margs rematch) and Sergio for the undisputed MW title. WTF more does he want?

goosen never took the time to build pwill into a regional attraction or find him a fanbase. dude is from south carolina/georgia. he's southern and you have atlanta or the casinos in mississippi, not to mention local spots, but he's been playing b-side in vegas, connecticut, and all over Cali.

I don't think its unfair but I do think its ridiculous when a 6ft 3in man who could easily fight middleweight or supermiddleweight is called the most avoided man in boxing but spends his time calling out guys who naturally could be fighting in weight classes 3 divisions lower than the one he is currently fighting in.

Why doesn't Paul Williams just call out Juan Manuel Marquez or when he was alive Edwin Valero while he's at it. I know! He Could fight Nonito Donair at a catch weight!

Not to mention the same fighter could be fighting for the middleweight title against a guy who is a lot closer to his size but instead instead would rather challange midgets.

actually, I think malignaggi vs foreman would be worse.

I think clottey will be able to slip in some counterpunches in between paul's combos. too bad he don't have the power to hurt paul.

I don't think so. Paul doesn't have the footspeed of pac. Paul is a lot more hittable than Pac. Also Paul is a lot slower than pac. I'm not saying that clottey can beat pwill, but Clottey will put up a better fight against pwill than he did pac.
