Can't wait to hear ******s claim that Dawson is ducking Cloud and making a SMW move up to face him.
When Bute is a FAR more difficult fight. And a bigger one. Only an idiot would fight Cloud over Bute.Comment

Call me an idiot then because I would much rather have a UNIFIED division then Dawson fighting bute in a meaningless fight.Comment

That's what I would prefer as well.
I swear if you read through this thread it is proof positive that most posters don't even bother reading the story before giving their opinion.
Dawson is not going to 168, the article said nothing about a move to 168, and the article said nothing about Bute wanting this fight himself.
Yet all these responses saying "Dawson should go to 168" or "Dawson shouldn't" as if it is even a possibility.
Read the article people. Shaw says "at 175 or a catchweight". Dawson is not coming all the way down to 168 and that will be all the excuse Lucian Bute needs to refuse the fight.Comment

American big baloon
After Roy Jones JR, Hopkins who cryed all night agains Jones, Taylor and Pavlik, Dawson will be the next to fall down from is pedestal that the poeple and media had create for him.
One fight at a time Mr Shaw. First Pascal, Chad will see enough leather that night that i dont think he will be interested to see Bute for a while.Comment

I addressed that in my post. why would bute move up? What sense does that make when he has bigger fish to fry at 168?
Dawson stands to make much more money fighting bute than anyone else, bute can make big money fighting many other people because he's actually an attraction. That's why I brought up 168Comment

I don't see Bute taking that fight, matter of fact I don't see any of the guys at 168 taking a fight with Dawson anytime soon
as for fighting Tavoris Cloud...lets see how he does against Glenn Johnson which will be Cloud's first big fight, if he beats Johnson more convincingly then Dawson did or can stop him then that will get people more excited about a Dawson vs Cloud fightLast edited by sicko; 07-01-2010, 01:59 PM.Comment

1) I have unfinished business at my best weight
2) Chad Dawson brings 0 money to the table.
3) Once I clean out 168 I will consider
none are excusesComment
