Perez and Mares should rematch. Dawson will beat Bute.

because every hbo bute fight, they talk about bute fighting the winner of the super 6. Did you hear max last fight vs Miranda. All night with the ward/bute comparisons. ALL Night!!! Bute beat Miranda more decisively etc, but fighter not in the tourney etc. They want that fight. Why risk it fightig a Better fighter.
Again. Who has bute ducked? Ward fought Miranda. The only good win on wards resume is kessler so far. Miranda beat green. You're coming across as a hater.
I didn't say Bute ducked anybody, I simply said he is doing like Calzaghe did and taking only easy fights whilst the rest of the division dukes it out.
You can call me a hater but it's just not true. In fact I admittedly have a bias for Eastern European fighters, especially those from Hungary and Romania.
What Bute is doing with his career is no different than Zsolt Erdei's path to staying undefeated.
I like Bute, I think he's a damn good fighter and a personable guy, but that's not going to stop me from being critical of his career choices.
I am only using history to predict what will happen in the future.Comment

I don't think it is realistic to expect Dirrell- Bute is Dirrell is knocked out of the Super 6. Some people seem to think it is a foregone conclusion that Bute will fight one of the guys that drops out and I don't think that is very likely.
Gary Shaw can be a real ****head sometime but he does genuinely care about his fighters and he knows that Andre Dirrell is a damn good fighter, with great potential and he isn't going to sell him out to Bute for a payday right after coming off a loss that could be potentially devastating to not only his career but also his mental state.
If Dirrell loses to Ward Shaw will take the time to build Dirrell back up to being a confident fighter and then make a move. He isn't going to whore him out to HBO for a payday against a guy like Bute. Shaw doesn't have enough good fighters in his stable to ruin Andre Dirrell.Comment

I wish you would read my posts and not put words in my mouth for the sake of supporting your own argument.

I hope you're wrong because I like Bute vs anyone in the S6 not named Allen Green as a fight.
Erdei makes me sick.
I could have sworn you were arguing for a Dawson-Bute fight at 168 and insinuating that Bute is a puss for not going up to fight Chad. While that is a fight we would like to see, its not a fight that any boxer would do. We're talking about a boxer stepping up a weight class while making a bunch of money in his current division with a mega fight on the horizon stepping up to fight a boring boxer who's bigger stronger faster, also a southpaw.
I would LOVE to see Dirrell V Bute. But I think Dirrell is going to beat Ward at a neutral site.Comment

I don't think Froch would do it considering his refusal to even go to most places in Europe to fight Abraham.Comment

Where did that come from, I haven't once said that. I was really talking about the fight being great from Chad's perspective.
Bute is not expected to do this, but now that there's talk of it, to me it sounds like it would be awesome. I guess your right that it would be a high risk for Bute, but I was just saying it'd be an awesome fight and it makes financial sense for both guys cause they each bring something to the table.Comment

Basically Kessler is apparently not afraid to travel although he'd had have every reason to be exactly that.
Regarding Froch: Think about his options after he is eliminated. Not many and his fanbase in Britain is not particularly huge so he might want to cash in against Bute in Montreal and then call it a career.Comment

My post is directed to Savordaflavour about him calling Cloud a nobody. I know he hasn't done much lately. But I'm gonna wait to see what he does against Glen Johnson before I say he is a nobody. Let's remember that Dawson got the dog **** beat out of him by Johnson in the first fight and ran like a ****less giraffe in the rematch and never landed any punches of consequence. I see Cloud as a very legit challenger for Dawson if he beats Johnson impressively. Even if Glen is considered Dawson's leftover opponent at this point.
If people get on Bernard Hopkins for fighting smaller guys instead of the top dog in his own division, then why don't they call out Chad Dawson for fighting guys who are natural Supermiddleweights? People have great double standards. And I'm saying this as someone who doesn't even like Hopkins anymore.
Cloud and Dawson will be ranked #1 and #2 if they win their next fights and even if Ring awards the Ring belt to the winner of Pascal-Dawson I won't agree with it if Cloud ends up beating Johnson and becomes Dawson's number one challenger to the throne.Comment
