Perez-Agberko is an underrated war, both guys through and landed great punches from round 1 to 12 non stop. Both are never in a dull fight.

Dawson-Bute sounds great too, I haven't been keeping up with Chad too much since he beat Johnson that second time. Bute is a young strong and very skilled fighter...

you can read my post too. shaw is killing dawson's career.
You should be talking to me about your avi bro. Sometimes I wish there was a video version to some of those damn avi's.

I do agree with you though. Dawson is young and in his prime, having him fight one time a ****ing year is moronic. Plus rematch with Tarver was purely for money and a complete waste of time. I understood the Johnson rematch though, people say Glen won the first bout and he showed them why there should be no doubt about it. He needs to get his career rolling though he could be a superstar if he gets the right bouts and fights more often.

Shaw didn't build him into a local attraction, people should be lining up to see this guy fight.

a lot of the guys at 168 will go up to 175, Dawson should stay put. If he cant get bute to fight him at 175 or like 173 or something, just fight Cloud (provided he gets by Johnson). If he can win that, the super six guys like Carl Froch will be at 175 (he said he's moving up after the tournament) that's some decent money and an easy fight for Dawson. Further I can imagine both ward & dirrell going up in weight

I think 2 things are pretty funny.

First, the fact that Shaw overlooks Pascal. Dawson is better as a boxer, but Pascal packs a good punch and has pretty decent skills. He is the champ after all. His willingness to mix it up and heart could pose problems to Dawson. Shaw should be hyping up Dawson-Pascal right now, not Dawson-Bute.

Second thing I find rather funny is that some dudes here think Bute is a walk in the park for Dawson.

I don't think so. They probably have equal power, but Bute showed he takes punches a bit better (like it or not). It would a very tactical fight fought at the highest skill level. It may be the toughest fight for Dawson between 168-175 right now.

Yeah that Mares fight was too close and inconclusive, but an Agbeko rematch is fine.

I just hope Dawson isn't really going to try to make 168, seems like a huge cut for him if he is really going to fight Bute.

He should just beat Pascal, and Cloud maybe take a softy or pic up a strap while waiting for the S6 guys to move up to him as many said they have plans to.

yeah Slow Down Shaw, one fight at a time lets Dawson beat Pascal first before trying to setup his next fight

Dawson vs Bute would be HUGE though

edit: Speaking of Super Six, Showtime still needs to make a Bantam version. They don't make much, so it'd be easy to pay for it.
i think ward's the only guy at 168 that stands a chance at dawson.....

they should put mares in with agbeko...winner gets a shot at perez. agbeko doesnt deserve a rematch, its a pity hes getting one.
