IMO, neither guy deserves a shot at pacquiao.

bradley hasn't fought any world class opponents yet, clottey has lost to all of his. based on that, and based on fighting styles, i'd rather watch bradley-pacqiao than clottey-pacquiao, but neither guy deserves the shot, especially not a guy who lost his last fight.
Holt, Campbell, and Witter are world class. They all have been world champions. I don't know what your definition of world class is.

Sergio was the second choice behind Paul Williams. And unlike Clottey, Martinez did everything he could to win. Clottey did everything he could to lose aginst both Maragrito and Cotto.

          Yes he is.

          Why? Because of Bob Arum.

          The fact remains.

If Joshua Clottey was not with Bob Arum, Joshua Clottey would have never in a million years fought Pacquiao.

being a former champion doesn't make you world class.

ricardo mayorga was a former champion.

Everybody needs to chill with the personal insults.

              Keep it boxing related.

So you're comparing Chavez Jr's career and talent to Bradley's? That speaks for itself.

                  You're right it doesn't.

However that analogy doesn't really transfer to this argument.

Junior Witter was the active WBC champion and #1 Jr WW.

Nate Campbell was the LW Champion before moving up to face Bradley after he fought Ali.

And Kendall Holt was the Active WBO Jr. WW Champion.

These guys are active world class champions... not past it shot fighters like Mayorga.

Sergio was the current world champion at 154 and was coming off possibly the fight of the year against Williams. On top of that he was Pavlik's second option. Are you really going to sit here and say his situation is comparable to Clottey's?
