Timing is everything. And it's funny how you completely ignore when Clottey fought Corrales and Judah. And by the way, Corrales was never even a contender in the welterweight division. I won't even get into those fighters being shot at the time.

The 140 division at that time was Ricky Hattons division. You know the same weak ass division that was full of pampered european fighters that fought other pampered european fighters. So in essance being the #1 fighter in th 140 division at that time was the equivelent of being Robert the Ghost Guerrero in the Featherweight division. Good Pro under a really good champion but not exactly a world beater and Holt come on now he was 1-1 against Ricardo Torres how does that make him anymore of a champion then Devon was at the time?
He was a very good pro, very slick counter puncher that can make you look very bad, solid wins over Harris, Corley, Kotelnik, and Ndou... He was in fact a world class fighter and champion.

Holt may have lost to Torres, but he came back to knock him the hell out in the 1st round, what more can be asked of him?

The point is... when Bradley fought these guys, they were ranked champions in the division... at THAT time.

You can pick apart anyones resume.

And you can't bash the active champions Bradley beat and then give me Zab Judah and a shot blown up Corrales as solid wins for Clottey.

When did I say that they wern't shot dumbass? What I said was Judah and Corrales "had" a prime while Witter and Holt didn't. Junior Witters biggest win was against Vivian Harris for christ sake!

Judah and Corrales might have been a couple of has-beens but Junior Witter was a never was and so was Holt.

          But it doesn't matter.

What matters is how good the actual wins are, meaning how capable the fighters were at that time.

Castillos career ****s on Alfonso Gomez doesn't it?

But in todays world... Gomez is the better fighter, and he is the better win.

A win over Witter is a better win than Judah.

A win over Holt is a better than a blown up shot Corrales.

It's just the way it is.

And never was? They were both world champions, what are you talking about never was?

Gary Locket is a never was.

Wow I guess if anyone beats a couple of B- fighters and wins a "trinket" suddenly they are a top tier fighter. *** Khan has beaten two Junior Witter type fighters(Andriy Kotelnik, Paulie Malinaggi) so that must mean he's ready for Floyd.

Hey everyone Bradley is ready for Pac and and Khan is ready for Floyd. *** Pac vs Floyd when we have these ***ing lame ass fights.

At 140 Bradley has a good chance to beat Pac. I been saying that for months now. Bradley is capable, of course I would favor Pac but Bradley can win. If the Floyd fight can't be made I would love to see him fight Bradley at 140. Shaw is right Bradley is a bigger name than Clottey was. And, at 140 he would be a tougher fight than Clottey was.

However, I don't know about Bradley at 147. Just cuz some fighters can move up 1 weight-class or multiple weight-class doesn't mean that ever fighter fight can move up and still be effective. Everybody body is different not everybody is the same. I need to see Bradley first above 140 for me to say that he would be a tougher opponent for Pac than so and so was/would be.

I think he should have an easy time with Abregu. I consider that fight a tune up fight. I don't see anything Abregu can do that would trouble Bradley. Bradley should have an easy time. The only thing that MIGHT be a problem is the weight-class.

And, if that happens I would want to see the Pac fight at 140 not 147. Because, if Bradley struggles in anyway against Abregu that would prove to me that Bradley is only an elite JWW not an elite WW and shouldn't be fighting elite WW's.

Come back with something relevant or don't post.

A win over Amir Khan is a better win than a win over MAB right now.

A win over Gomez is a better win than a win over Castillo right now.

Just like a win over Witter an active world champion at the time is a better win than a blown shot corrales at welterweight.

Just like a win over Holt, an active world champion at the time is a better win than a past it Judah at WW.

There is no dis*****g it, you can laugh all you want.

We are debating weather or not a win over Junior Witter entitles you to fight Pacman.
