One question. What has Margarito done to deserve a crack at Pac? He got the snot beat out of him by Mosley and got caught attempting to cheat in the process, and beat an unknown in Mexico. How is that deserving to have a crack at the pfp#1?

I'd rather see Pac vs Saul Alvarez in Mexico to continue his Mexican domination.

I wouldn't mine seeing it either but top rank isn't likely to match Manny against a "boxer" like Bradley. They seem to prefer more of a "brawler" like Marg.

i don't even think it because of that, more so on arum's decision to keep business in-house. as if dude doesn't have enough money. greedy ass promoters.

True that, but top rank s great at matchmaking and bradley is a bad style matchup for manny. I think floyd is to but $40 mil is $40 mil.

              De La Hoya?

              Hatton?

While I know Margarito is an interesting fight it would almost have to be in Mexico (unless Jerry Jones helps get Marg a lisc in Texas). I don't know the costs invovled but it would surely be more exspensive to have a ppv from Mexico than the US.
Yeah, good thing "The Event" took place!

.....anyways, what ever happened to Pac fighting the best? I honestly bring this up since we crucify other fighters for 'ducking' and whatnot. Margarito doesn't deserve to fight in the U.S. again and a rematch with Cotto would just look like the Morales/Barrera rematches with Pac blowing him out. I have a strong feeling that we will see a farewell fight in Manila against Margarito where the P.I. Sports commission will allow just about anything.

i agree with shaw, bradley is at least as well known as clottey is and arum does seem to prefer sticking another top rank fighter in with pacquiao

That's because Pac is ducking fighters. This guy is a fraud. Fighter of the decade for beating weight drained Oscar, B+ Hatton, beatdown Cotto and non punching Clottey is a farce. Why not fight one of the undefeated guys like Bradley or Alexander or even Mosley or PWill? Because they are all boxers and he's "ducking" pure boxers, instead he wants to fight Cotto or Margarito. If he fights and beats one of these guys then maybe I'll start to believe the hype. Until then, he's a fraud.

Bradley is undefeated, Team Pac (Arum) only chooses fights vs exposed fighters

Like I said they would fight (cherry picked bum) Clottey but not Timothy Bradley?

Yet people blame Mayweather for the fight against Pac not happening when clearly we know Arum wants his guys fighting his own guys. We also know that team Pac (Arum) is hard to deal with when talking money split. Hatton, Hoya and now Mayweather again are all fights or attempted fights that had issues during negotiations due to money.

Yet people love to blame Mayweather. Remember Mayweather agreed to 50%, Pac still didn't want the fight at that point. He ran to fight in court along the time line that Freddie Roach was quoted saying "Pac isn't ready for a fighter like Mayweather".

Mayweather also made it very clear that he wouldn't accept 50% if Pac decided he couldn't make that kind of money anywhere else and wanted to attempt to make the fight again. Why Pac lost all leverage when he "cherry picked" Clottey (who).

So Team Pac will fight Clottey but not undefeated, unexposed Bradley?

Tell me: What fighter has Pac fought that didn't come off a loss, or didn't look bad in there previous fight, or was even a champion?

People love to blame Mayweather..... Team Pac's cherry picking and attempts to walk (duck) away from fights due to money...
