ricardo mayorga was a former champion.
That's true but I wouldn't compare any of those fighters to Mayorga.

Has nothing to do with comparing him to Joshua Clottey as a valid opponent.

        The fact remains.

If Joshua Clottey was not with Bob Arum, Joshua Clottey would have never in a million years fought Pacquiao.
And you can say the same thing about Marquez but that doesn't mean much because thats what a promoters job is! To get his fighters the biggest fights!

        Thanks Captain Obvious!

Ok how about we compare their Size, chin and punching power how about that. A feather fisted junior welter who gets dropped on his ass all the time or a big sturdy granit chin welter who can ***ing punch.

Hmmmm oh Bradley's fought a bunch of nobodies and is undefeated oops i guess undefeated records replace actual talent.

            That's not the point.

The point is, he would of never got the shot at Pac if he wasn't with Arum for one reason.

Because he wasn't a very viable opponent.

And if he was, certainly not more than Bradley.

I think most people would call that good business.

Sad but thats the business of boxing

Na im not just saying holding your own vs Great fighters sometimes gets you a title shot when **** crumbles in negotiations of other fights. Like Clottey and Sergio. Both of them where the 2nd options for Pacquiao and Pavlik. Comprende ???
