hahaha what a sarcastic reply. now u dont give a **** bout what he expected? schaefer is part of the hyping thing hahaha

my question again: regradless of its success.

did they even meet half of the the 4M?

again let us make a logic, if u say u expect 4M to watch the fight and only 1.4M watched the fight...did it meet what is expected?

dont tell about the financial success unless u have the exact amount of the promotion.

    dont make assume.

however, (AGAIN) the fact that it didnt meet even half is frustrating!

        You are an idiot.

You should know by now promoters just talk **** to hype up a fight and generate sales.

Since when is 1.4M buys in a recession a failure? How many boxers can do numbers like that in a recession without a dance partner? You better not tell me JMM and Mosley are dance partners because they fight on HBO and never sold millions on PPV's as the star of the main event.

Why do you care how much they sell? Are you making a single penny from the PPV?

The promoter’s expectations fell short from their projected profit. What they did was spend more than the required budget to promote the fight but their expectation came up at least 65% short.

If they know beforehand that the fight will flop (based on their expected revenue) then they won't spend that kind of money just to promote the fight. If I'm not mistaken the 24/7 HBO shows was amplified from 5 part series instead of the standard 4 series show.
Another idiot on BS. Why would anyone believe the fight would sell over 3 million PPVs? Not even Floyd vs. DLH sold over 3M buys.

Why are you talking about numbers like you know how much they invested in the fight? The fight was a success because they made millions of dollars and everyone was happy.

then schaefer is a ******, fool, idiot, for saying a word that cannot even meet half of it. when u hype, u at least back it up with achievement more than half of the hyping thing.

Arum is also a fool because he said Manny vs. Cotto was going to sell over 2M and the fight only sold 1.2M with the biggest draw in boxing and the 3rd biggest draw in boxing.

Watch both TR and GBP say Manny vs. Floyd is going to be the highest selling fight of all time. Are you going to call it a failure if they sell around 3M?

They covered this in-and-out on boxing truth last month. Anything above 500k is a HUGE success, especially in todays economy.

The 4million with 2 tracking going into fight week was just a lie to help sales, as if May-Mosely was an event *everyone* was going to see so you just *had* to order the PPV to see it too.

1.4 million is a huge, huge success no matter how you want to spin it.

Geez your the one that is not making sense lol, your the dumbass who don't know how to intelligently defend himself.

No one expected 4million, but as a businessman we project, if projection is way of mark you lose money. In this case projection is 4million @ least have a minimum of 1.5million ppv to profit. Is that logic enough for you. It's not even half of 4 million. 1.4 ain't even half of it.
