But, you understand though that there could be harm also. For example look at the Castillo-Corrales rematch.

**** that it was Floyd for a second. I don't care about that situation anymore. He proved his **** against Shane IMO.

But, you have to understand that we have weight-classes for a reason. And, if two fighters agreed to fight a certain weight. Then a fighter should make that weight. Even if it is a non title fight. That does not give you a pass. And, if you don't sacrifice in making weight, you might have a severe size advantage that could cause harm to a fighter.

Again that is like saying well Castillo paid his fine, no harm no foul. No I am sorry that is bull****. It wasn't fair that Corrales made weight and Castillo didn't.

That goes for any fighter period. But, that is JMO.

Your talking about Floyd right? I know you meant to say: this is how Flyod is going to be rated by boxing historians. LOL

Look at the bold. Floyd fans are the best most mature fans by far...

Anyways to your question. I mean Pac had 24 fights when he won his first World Title. I mean what is wrong with that. That is like trying to take away Floyd accomplishment for beating Genaro Hernandez early in his career. I mean I don't understand your poing.

And, I see that you started talking about HW's. And, I have no idea why. Was it due to Leon Spinks?

Anyways, how many fights did Fidel LaBarba have when he won his first World title?

Nobody can answer that question right now man. To say it won't be broken with so many titles and divisions is borderline ******ed.

That is like 8 years ago people asking who is will break Oscar 6 titles in 6 division record. Nobody would of guessed Pac who at 122 with only 2 titles so far.

You can't say right now. But, it will happen. It is just too many titles and too many divisions for it not to happen. And, more titles will come into play in the future also.

records are meant to be broken....

that being said, i think pac's record will have a good 10 years or so before getting broken.

times have changed. not too many boxers start out at 16 years old at 106 & win titles up 7 divisions.

I think someone in the lower divisions will break it. I can see Nonito Donaire doing so. He definitely has the skills to compete up to at least 135 effectively.

just take somebody like paul williams who has the physicals to go through divisions. his first title is at 147.

he has to win at every single division all the way to heavyweight just to tie pac at 7.

then again its not impossible. plenty of old school fighters have covered lots of divisions, even more so than pac like carpentier. it will be extremely difficult but not impossible.

it was a ****** move form Floyd to agree to fight at a catchweight he couldn't make or didn't feel comfortable fighting in but in this case Mayweather-marquez was at the WW limit and the fight happen also coming in 2 or 3 pounds over weight won't cause harm to a fighter. the whole 144 thing was just a PR move from Floyd's camp to justify fighting a lightweight at a welterweight and it backfired

other then that I agree with you're post
