Actually the belt at 140 technically is anything BUT a paper title.

And, you can not say Pac was the man at those 7 weight-classes. You're right about that. But, you can say he was the man at 4 of those weight-classes. And, that is more weight-classes then any man could claim in the history of the sport.

    So just think about that.

Hatton was knocked out couple of fights before only thing is it was at 147 not 140 so yea he was still was the lineal champ at 140 . but the best fighter in that division was Bradley. any of the other sanctioning bodies would have stripped hatton for 1 moving up and 2 losing

How was Bradley the best fighter in the division when Pac-Hatton got signed?

When Pac-Hatton got signed he hadn't even beaten Kendall Holt yet. He was preparing to fight him. So I ask when Pac and Hatton got signed how was Bradley the best fighter?

And, do you not consider JMM the man at 135?

and I thought moving up in weight would vacate the title and new line of succession would be started. I don't really understand how the lineal champs work I know Manny is still the champ at 140 but when Floyd retired for 2 years it became vacant.

I don't know if it was a paper belt or not, but what i know is that hatton is the man and recognize lineal champ at 140 lbs......

Whether you think he cherry pick the tittle that's your opinion but pac has shown that he is willing to fight anyone they put in front of him and he prove it by facing barrera, marquez and morales..........

I don't if he is the man or not in those 7 weight class all i know is that he's the 4 lineal champ out of those 7....

It only becomes vacant when you start campaigning at a higher weight or when you retired. Floyd officially retired.

For example when Floyd fought Oscar at 154. He didn't lose the lineal WW title cuz it was known that he was going to go back down to WW. It was just a one fight deal.

Same thing with JMM and same thing with Hatton.

However, you right Pac by all accounts is campaigning at WW so he should vacate the title.

Hatton fought nobodies so yeah he wasn't beat at 140 but whatever I know Manny had a questionable title fight win at 130 and didn't fight the best at 135 140 and 147 thats why I'm not that big on what he did the last 3 years

He unified the titles against Maussa, he also beat Urango who later became champ, he stopped Malignaggi, and won the lineal title for beat Tszyu. And, you saying that he fought nobodies?

All this fighters were in the top 10 at 140. And he fought nobodies?

And, again when Pac signed to fight Hatton. How was Hatton not the best fighter at 140? At the time the fight was signed Bradley hadn't even beaten Holt. Hatton was coming off 2 wins against the champ Witter in Witter homeland and Edner Cherry. Cherry wasn't even ranked at 140 at the time. So how could you have said that at that time Bradley was better than Hatton?

you judge a fighter by how they look in there most recent fights and Hatton was looking like a ruined fighter after getting rocked by lazcano he was no where near the best even at a weak division

He won 10 rounds against Lazcano.

And, right after Lazcano, you know the fight prior to Pac. He stopped a top 10 JWW in Malignaggi. By all accounts Malignaggi is better than Lazcano right?

So if you just as good as your last fight. Well then before pac he stopped a top 10 fighter. Bradley stopped a fighter who wasn't even ranked.

So since the facts has been dealt out can you please answer my question. When Pac signed to fight Hatton. How was Bradley the best fighter in the division?

And, keep and mind when Pac-Hatton had been signed. Bradley still had not beaten Kendall Holt.
