    I can appreciate it.
    1) America's the most litigous society on Earth. Frivoulous law suits against deep stack corporations and individuals, are just another kind of lottery ticket.
    2) Its leverage against the test themselves in future negotiations, Roach happily admits that much.

But its probably not something I would have done in their position, but who knows I don't have Manny's coin.

      ****** case?

Burstein is one of pac haters. If we are in a free country doesnt mean you can slander people with malicious intent.Everyone knows the motive of GAYWEATHERS and company. These people are very jealous and envy to PACMAN of his achievements. Pacquiao is ILLITERATE? what is the connection of this to the case.Firstly,he is not illiterate AND NOT BECAUSE WE ARE IN A FREE COUNTRY WE CAN SPEAK MALICIOUS WORDS WITH MALICIOUS INTENTION TO SLANDER SOMEBODY.NOT BECAUSE I AM ILLITERATE I WILL JUST ACCEPT THE LIES(OPINION?) OF THOSE WHO WANT TO MALIGN ME IN PUBLIC.ILLITERATES ARE THOSE LIKE BURSTEIN AND M.I.C. WHO PRETENDS TO BE ONE THAT WILL ACCEPT SLANDEROUS INSINUATION BECAUSE AS THEY SAY WE ARE IN A FREE COUNTRY..THIS IS ******ITY.

all of that is cool but none of it equals victory in this suit. i think the problem with a lot of ppl who post on here and around the world is that they think the law cares about emotions. it doesnt. it cares about centuries of precedent and the contstitution and the laws made based around it. it doesnt care that u feel sorry for manny or not. there are numerous cases that discuss libel and slander and there are cases specifically aimed at public figures, and based on those cases, i would say it would be highly unlikely that manny wins this case. id use my westlaw account to post a few, but most ppl would ignore it if it didnt support their emotions.

I agree with Burstein when he said "Manny Pacquiao has been
              poorly advised".

I think he did by stating why De La Hoya and Schaefer won't
                lose the case.

Not a co-promoter, just a small financial stake. Under their agreement, Top Rank retained Pacquiao's promotional rights with Golden Boy receiving a percentage of Top Rank's profit from his future bouts.

The OP's point was that you'd hardly expect him to say anything else.

Even more ****** when you realize that the suit is filed in America where we have the freedom of speech, and when you consider that proving slander is perhaps the hardest case to prove in the entire system. He should have took the test with the good deal to begin with, now he's gonna have to take it the proper way and give up a money split that favors Floyd just for ****ing the first situation up.
