OK, so if you feel this way. Can you PLEASE tell me. Why would
Floyd need to duck or avoid Cotto when clearly, Floyd has always
been more experienced and ELITE than Cotto? I remember Roger
Mayweather saying if Cotto got passed Margarito that Floyd would
be interested in fighting him.

From what Floyd said it was because he proved everything he need to prove in Boxing.Me I feel he felt the WW walls were closing in on him.I not buying He would have beat the WW version of Cotto like you selling.I do feel he would have won but not like you putting it.Oh and FYI I felt the WW cotto would have lost a close decision what do you think would have happen to a green JR WW version?

I have to say I think your wrong again.Thing about Mosley is he'll is take the arm's if that's what your giving him.He will punch arms body whatever.I do think May is great in just about every area.But I want to see him fight another elite fighter who has good boxing skill and who is not past it.He did beat Hoya but IMO Shane is better then Hoya.

agree... this is each fighters greatest opposition... there will be no excuses on who loses this fight... the two best fighters going at it, what more can you ask for?? I know who Im picking though

Miguel Cotto was the same Cotto at 140 that he was at 147.
The only difference is that he took a punch better because he
could put on more weight. How did Cotto style change since him
moving up to 147 with Evangelista in his corner? If Cotto would
have beat Margarito and Oscar, then that Floyd/Cotto fight
would have happened, like Floyd wanted to make it happen with
Pac. Fact of the matter is, it wasn't Floyd's job to chase after
Cotto but for Cotto to chase after Floyd because Floyd was
Lineal champ and P4P#1. Where was Cotto? I thought in
Boxing you fight to make it to the top and when your there
up and comers and fighters with something to prove try to make
a fight happen with you? Cotto NEVER mentioned Floyd as a
potential opponent of his, so why should Floyd be tagged with
he ducked or avoided Cotto? The door swings both ways. Just
not fair homie.

Cotto fought and beat Judah in a far more exciting fight and much more dominate way IMO.He got a home cook meal vs Mosley.But none the less he stil won.He was ready and did his fighting to get to the top.He was the NUM1 WW in the world when Floyd retired so I really don't know what your talking about Cotto fought his way to the man only to the man walk away?Listen Floyd did what he did but people wanting a green Cotto who did not even have a Major fight yet(First major fight was Zab)to jump in there with Floyd does that make sense to you?

You my potna and all Amay, but I would like to hear/read of these "bad habits" of Mayweather in which you speak of. I've watched him very closely and haven't seen many, so I'd like to see what you mean as maybe I am overlooking something.

I think Floyd's worst habit is he has coasted by in so many fights whats going to happen Know that he needs to open up.I believe Floyd can be outworked

I agree with you, as I wish for the same. I'm not saying the fight will be easy, hopefully Mosley has one last great one in him, but you and I know the odds are very low for a guy at 38 and you have to play the odds when predicting the outcome.

Letting his hands go will be great for boxing fans and horrible for him.Floyd's best bet to win this fight is in boring fashion like his past few fights.Trading with Shane is feeding right in to what Shane and Naazim wants.And everyone knows that if Shane gets you hurt, he finishes you.

The point is Floyd tried to make the fight happen. it doesn't matter when in this case.

I put in another post that I really can't argue to much about if he try to make the fight or not because I never heard anything about any talk's or negotiation.But you have to admit it does matter when I'll give you and example(I think I told you this before).David Reid good fight and had a future put in the ring with an ELITE fighter to early ended his career.It always matter's when you take that step up you should not wait forever but Cotto was too green.
