IDK Rome I wouldn't call Gatti(R.I.P.) washed up at the particular time he met Floyd. He was comming of a 5-6 fight winning streak which included the Micky Ward Wars and a blow out of Jessie James Leija. I think the drubbing that Floyd handed him is what broke Gatti.

Can't agree with you here Chiefy Gatti's war's with Ward had him finish and ward is no were Close to May skill wise.I could not see Gatti(at that point)beating any elite fighter the boxing world had to offer him.Thing about Gatti(and I'm gonna be hated for saying this)is that he never was skilled he had one of the biggest heart a human body could hold.But in the skill department it just was'int there.He look good against Ward in their third fight because Ward has even worst skill's then Gatti.May look amazing vs Gatti but if you really thought that was gonna be competitive I say you had wishful thinking for a old dog with a hugh ticker.

If Floyd hurts you, he will finish you too. Floyd is not a slugger, so he won't get into a slugfest with Mosley. However, Floyd will bust him up and Richardson will stop the fight in round 9 or 10.

Exactly casual fan which is what you sound like.Mosley May has been a fight real boxing fans have been craving for years.I've wanted to see this fight since I was 12.You sound like someone who is riding one fights jock(which is pretty funny)and not loving the sport you talking about.It's like being a new york Knicks fan growing up if they did not make the championship did I stop watching the playoffs?Hell no Jordan was still taking on a top player.It was still to of the top teams going head to head.You don't know how this fight is going to play out(It's a fight anything can happen).Just because Pac is not fighting(FYI I like pac as well)does not mean we are not going to see a epic fight so just enjoy History if you truly love this sport.

I thought Tyson Holyfield 1 was good and it lived up to the hype.Those guy's went toe to toe and there was a knockout can't beat that.I miss the heavyweight div.

I hope so. I'm just not so sure which Mosley will show up and I don't use the Margarito fight as a barometer. Mosley beats Marg 10 out of 10 times, based on style.

No one was saying Marga's style was easy for mosley before he got **** canned so I don't agree here switch.Mosley had a good game plan which will also be the difference come fight night May 1.

I watched the marge/mosley fight live and thats the only time Ive seen it but I had the fight scored pretty close til like the last 3 rounds where mosley just started doing the same repetive combonations that margacheato had no answer for... and who knows where marge's head was after they took the bricks out of his gloves...
