dirrell's overtly emotional reaction to what happend to him lends me to believe he faked it.

its as if he was trying to over exaggerate his emotional well being to make the illegal blow more hurtful & honest. overcompensating emotionally to sell that he was hurt.

      Here's an article:

Good find. I hope the people saying that because Dirrell didn't have a concussion he was "faking it" read this.

That's hazy, but every situation has different factors. I don't know, nor do I even care anymore.

You know they were in Detroit right? To you, if you were to go to a Detroit hospital, you would be convinced you were in some 3rd world country.

But on the reals, if they ran all the proper tests and they all came back negative (just like my friend) why keep him overnight?

I don't know, maybe you're a doctor Bat and I'm not aware of that and you have expert knowledge on head trauma, concussions, seizures and the likes, so maybe you know something we don't. But if you're not a doctor, then perhaps your assumptions are baseless and hold no water.

Ricky Hatton looked like he DIED in the ring against Pacquiao and he was up and chatting with people like nothign happened moments later. Did he stay at the hospital overnight? Oh ****, nope he didn't!

Rick the morning after getting brutally KO'd

Maybe he was faking it too
except we all saw the shot. It was a lighting fast left hand. In slow motion you saw his entire face ripple with the force of the blow.

Dirrels just looked like a small punch.

I can talk from experience when I tell you, if you really would had knocked down they would never ever let you leave after 3 hours. I got knocked out at a major college judo tournament, because I got headbutted and was thrown unconscious. I had a bad headache and my left bodysite was tickling. So I was brought to hospital for magnetic resonance tomography and computer tomography. Although I felt okay after some hours they kept me 3 days and I always had to wear some heartbeat detection... so decide on your own.

well if you would have read the thread you would have seen where Bat posted an article about one of the most brutal KO's ever and the guy was only at the hospital for a short time. So yeah, your argument is invalid.

You'd expect Dirrell to be rushed to the hospital for a long stay right?

                      Wrong.

He was there for a mere 3 hours.

yeah... but dirrell wasn't brutally KOed in his last fight, like JT was brutally KOed by Froch and before him Pavlik.
