If your were to believe a lot of the posters here and hadnt seen the fight, then you would be led to believe that he caught a full blooded shot, but if you watch it you see that it was only a glancing blow. The punch looked pretty half assed tbh,and if it had caught him anywhere near 100 percent, then maybe it would have knocked him out.

It looks dodgy as hell, and if catching the edge of a half assed punch from somebody results in AD getting kayoed followed by all the nonsense afterwards, then maybe he better change careers.

And before the usual spastics start chiming in,no this doesnt excuse AA,and the result was correct.
that punch wasn't half-assed. AA threw it with murderous intent.

As you can see in this thread him staying in the hospital a mere 3 hours is inconclusive. He left hospital because the scans came out ok. So it's inconclusive as to wheter he faked or not. Had it been standard to keep concussed fighters at least under obsevation overnight we would have an indication of him faking. But since they would have a guy who definetely was not faking out in 2½ hours I suppose it's possible that Dirrell both had a full body seizure as well as a severe concussion.

I watched it live, watched the replays, watched it again ad nauseum and it wasnt thrown with murderous intent, furthermore,Dirrell just about caught the edge of it. If you watch the replay angle from AA's left side it clearly shows the direction of any power actually going in a different direction.

If you call that a small punch, sit on your knees and have your friend punch you on the chin like that after running like 3.5-5 miles...
But with that being said it did look liek he was faking a little bit, boxers mainly cover their eyes like that after being hit in the middle of the face not on the chin, if he was knocked out, he should have been layed out the other way, his hands should have dropped to the side...and he should have been laying on his right side...
