Dirrell was fine, his eyes were clear when he got up.

Roy Jones eyes were glazed over and had a tired look about them from only getting tagged against Tarver in the 3rd fight.

Dirrell is the best after ward but he'll always find a way to not win like he should. Against Froch he did'nt use his better speed and ran like a marathon runner. Against Abraham he schooled the fool and won it like a lil *****. He wasted the best performance of his career.

You also live in a country with quality healthcare.

Look Natas. This dirrell incident wasn't just an 'ordinary' KTFO type concussion. He had a full-body seizure as if he was having a cardiac arrest. As I watched it live I genuinely feared for his life.

And then they rush him to the hospital for 3 hours!
You know they were in Detroit right? To you, if you were to go to a Detroit hospital, you would be convinced you were in some 3rd world country.

But on the reals, if they ran all the proper tests and they all came back negative (just like my friend) why keep him overnight?

I don't know, maybe you're a doctor Bat and I'm not aware of that and you have expert knowledge on head trauma, concussions, seizures and the likes, so maybe you know something we don't. But if you're not a doctor, then perhaps your assumptions are baseless and hold no water.

Ricky Hatton looked like he DIED in the ring against Pacquiao and he was up and chatting with people like nothign happened moments later. Did he stay at the hospital overnight? Oh ****, nope he didn't!

Rick the morning after getting brutally KO'd

Maybe he was faking it too

Yeah, that was a scary knockout. I genuinely believe that loss took something out of Johansson (other than his undefeated record, that is.) I don't really think that he took the second match with Floyd _quite_ as seriously as the first, quite the opposite to what was the fact in the first match, when Patterson underestimated _him_. Then they had a quite exciting third match... but I felt something was "off" about him.

If Dirrell really did suffer the same as Ingemar did in that second fight, I don't believe he'll ever be the same. However, I'm pretty sure it was all for show, and besides, he's used to falling down anyway, so I guess he'll be fine.

But this is a millionaire fighter we are talking about. Gary Shaw's golden nugget. Would he leave his best asset to just third rate threatment?

EDIT: Strange I didn't see the last part of your post. I'm definetely not a doc lol. In Hattons case he was making sense in the post-fight interview wasn't he? Dirrell wasn't. That might be the difference you're looking for.

yeah but shaw isn't going to fly him out of state they are going to the nearest hospital, in Detroit. But I was moreso joking about the conditions in detroit then anything else.

Ah, so then you're no expert on the subject?

Dirrell made no sense in the post-fight interview, however later when he was in the dressing room the doctor said he appeared much better but still concerning. Ricky Hatton's was much more frightening, imo, with his eyes all twitching and him not moving, rolling him on his side, etc. Brutal ****.

After spending several minutes on his back in the ring, Hatton had to be taken to a hospital for a precautionary brain scan, which revealed no damage.

"He's perfectly all right," Ray Hatton, Ricky's father, said. "They've checked him out. He's had all the tests and everything. He's not got a mark on him."

ricky hatton was faking, you dont get hit by a brutal shot like that, look dead for 5 minutes and leave the hospital unmarked and be out partying and blow up 200 pounds in 4 days of a knockout

                  eh bat?
